With the rapid development of entrepreneurial activities, academic interest in this field of economics, sociology, business, and psychology is increasing. The national economic policies related to entrepreneurship have been introduced one after another.Guiding and nurturing outstanding entrepreneurship plays a vital role in a country's economic development and social prosperity. For new ventures, entrepreneurs play a key role in the growth of the company. They must obtain critical support, such as financial, material, and social resources,to succeed and thrive. With the deepening of entrepreneurial theory research, the entrepreneurial spirit characterized by innovation, dedication, and risk-taking has gradually become the focus of academic research. In the past few decades, the relationship between entrepreneurship and new venture growth has received considerable attention in the organizational theory literature. The entrepreneurial spirit and personality traits are important factors for the growth of entrepreneurial enterprises. On the basis of literature review, this paper first explained the characteristics of entrepreneurial spirit that affect the growth of entrepreneurial enterprises. And based on the mature research framework, they were summarized into six elements at three levels, which are intellectual accomplishment at theoretical level,innovativeness,risk-taking and proactiveness at practical level, need for achievement and dedication at moral level. Then the relationship between those elements and the growth of entrepreneurial enterprises in the existing research results was analyzed. In order to explore the mechanism of interaction between various elements, this research compiled an entrepreneurial questionnaire and then collected 120 valid data. This study employed a fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis(fsQCA)to investigate the configurations of high and low corporate performance under the influence of entrepreneurial elements.By exploring the different paths of entrepreneurial elements that produce high performance and low performance,we analyzed the role of each element and its combination.Through the analysis and processing of data,we set up five high-performance configurations and four low-performance configurations under the influence of entrepreneurship. The entrepreneurs who achieve high corporate performance were classified as ?high knowledge with low risk-taking?.?high innovativeness with high risk-taking? and ?high innovativeness, high proactiveness with high dedication?.Also,we analyzed the core absence of ?intellectual accomplishment?,?proactiveness? and ?dedication? that cause worse enterprise performance.By comparing five high-performance and four low-performance configurations, the mechanism of the combination of entrepreneurial elements and the growth of entrepreneurial enterprises was obtained.
