The transformation of traditional agricultural production methods into modern agricultural production methods faces a long-term and arduous task. The commercialization of agricultural products is an important way to transform traditional agriculture into modern agriculture. However, compared with developed countries in the world,China's agricultural products are relatively backward in commercial production, and the degree of commodification is not high, and its development prospects are worrisome.Promoting the commercialization of agricultural products is a difficult problem to be overcome. If we promote agricultural production technology investment, optimize agricultural production structure, rationally allocate agricultural total factor productivity, increase food production, and promote the development of agricultural product commodification, this issue is worth exploring. This paper chooses wheat as an example and uses the provincial panel data for empirical analysis. This paper firstly takes the theory of total factor productivity, endogenous growth theory, agricultural transformation development theory and commercialization theory as the theoretical basis, and proposes the research hypothesis that total factor productivity has an impact on the commercialization of agricultural products. At the same time, relevant literatures have been sorted out and found that the process of commercialization of agricultural products in China has its own characteristics.Secondly, the paper analyzes the historical evolution of China's agricultural products, considering the continuity and availability of data. This paper takes China's grain and wheat commercialization as an example to analyze the regional differences in China's grain and wheat commercialization. When the production of agricultural products(food and wheat)is found to increase, the degree of commercialization of agricultural products will increase to varying degrees, and the commercialization of agricultural products will be basically consistent with the increase in agricultural production.Thirdly, the results of measuring the total factor productivity of wheat through the DEA model show that there are obvious regional differences in wheat production efficiency and total factor productivity, and the total factor productivity technology change is caused by technological changes. Finally, through the Tobit model, wheat total factor productivity has an impact on wheat commercialization.Through the above research, the paper answers the proposed research hypothesis in the conclusion section. The Tobit model confirmed the positive impact of wheat total factor productivity on wheat commercialization. The impact of wheat technological progress and wheat commodity rate is also positive, while the impact of technological progress efficiency index is not significant. After adding control variables, wheat total factor productivity, technological progress efficiency, and technological progress all showed positive effects, and all were at 1% confidence level. This indicates that the technological progress efficiency of wheat needs to be influenced by other factors to reflect the impact on the commercialization rate, while the square coefficient of the impact of wheat total factor productivity and technology on the commercialization rate is positive.Per capita income, wheat price, farmers' income composition, urbanization rate, economic structure, rural area education level, and relative price changes have positive and significant effects on wheat commercialization and its components, while agricultural financial support and income distribution on wheat commodities There is no influence on its composition and its composition. Finally, based on the conclusions, the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are put forward.
