| The new level of urbanization has gradually become an important criterion for measuring the economic prosperity of a region. The development process of new urbanization is the process of accumulating and accumulating industries. With the development of social economy, the role of modern industry in promoting new urbanization is weakened, and the promotion of the tertiary industry to new urbanization is continuously strengthened. The new urbanization level of Henan Province is currently in a period of rapid development, and the contribution rate of the tertiary industry’s output value to the total GDP has exceeded 50%.Therefore,studying the interaction between the new urbanization and the tertiary industry in Henan Province at this stage will help to propose countermeasures to promote the harmonious development of the two. This paper takes the interaction between new urbanization and tertiary industry in Henan Province as the research object.Through the combination of theoretical analysis and empirical analysis, the author deeply studies the interaction between the two.First of all,it sorts out the research status of the interaction between new urbanization and the tertiary industry. Most of the previous scholars’ research is from the relationship between urbanization and the tertiary industry as a whole, about the relationship between urbanization and the tertiary industry. The research is relatively small. Most of the research on urbanization and tertiary industry is static, and there are few dynamic studies. It is impossible to analyze the dynamic interaction between urbanization and the tertiary industry.Secondly,it defines the new urbanization and the connotation of the tertiary industry, and introduces the economic theories related to regional economics and industry, forming the theoretical basis for the study of the relationship between the two.On the basis of theory, the paper analyzes the specific interaction between the new urbanization and the tertiary industry, and finds a clear interactive path between the two.Combined with the status quo of new urbanization and tertiary industry in Henan Province, through the detailed analysis of the two dimensions of time and region,we find problems and deficiencies in development. In the empirical analysis, firstly, the interaction between the new urbanization and the third production in Henan Province was studied. The data of 18prefecture-level cities in Henan Province were selected from 2004 to 2016.By constructing the PVAR model, model estimation and pulse function analysis were carried out.The variance decomposition is used to study the interaction between the two. Then study the interaction between the new urbanization and the tertiary industry, select the data of Henan Province from 2003 to 2016,and construct the VAR vector autoregressive model of the new urbanization, consumer service and production service industry in Henan Province.Through Granger causality, pulse function analysis and variance decomposition analysis. The results show that there is no interaction between the new urbanization and the tertiary industry. With the development of new urbanization, the interaction with the tertiary industry is becoming more and more obvious, and the interaction between the new urbanization and the producer service industry and the consumer service industry is significant. Most of the rural surplus labor released in the new urbanization process has been absorbed into the consumer service industry characterized by labor intensiveness. Finally, combined with the analysis results, this paper puts forward corresponding policy recommendations: First, break the household registration system, promote the marketization process of rural surplus labor, and improve the rural surplus labor training system. The second is to pay attention to the quality of new urbanization development and strive to improve the urban infrastructure, such as medical care, education, and transportation.Third, accelerate technological innovation and relax the entry barriers for related industries.Fourth, pay attention to the development of diversified service industries and promote the transformation and upgrading of the tertiary industry. |
