Research On The Impact Of Export Credit Insurance On Export Trade

In September and October 2013,Xi Jinping,Chinese president,put forward the strategic concept of building �the silk road economic belt" and the "21st century maritime silk road",or "One Belt And One Road" for short,and regarded it as the main opening-up policy of China in this period.The 19 th national congress of the communist party of China was held in Beijing from October 18 to 24.Promoting the construction of "One Belt And One Road" has been written into the party constitution.This shows that the communist party of China attaches great importance to the "One Belt And One Road" construction and firmly promotes the "One Belt And One Road" international cooperation with determination and confidence,but also highlights the importance of the "One Belt And One Road" construction."One Belt And One Road" makes full use of the existing bilateral and multilateral mechanisms between China and relevant countries and the existing and effective regional cooperation platform to actively develop the economic cooperative partnership with countries along the belt and road.Export trade is the key content of "One Belt And One Road" construction.However,enterprises often face various risks in foreign trade,which often pose a great threat to their operation.Export credit insurance is in the process of export business,business risks for importers or importer of the losses suffered by the political risk of a credit insurance,is a country in order to promote the country's export trade,export enterprises in the security of a provided by the national finance nonprofit insurance reserve policy insurance business.In recent years,China's export credit insurance has developed rapidly,in order to promote the development of export trade has played a vital role,but due to the vast geographical area in our country,the economic zone of the geographical position,natural environment and climate differences,these differences combination also larger influence on the horizontal development zone import and export trade.In this context,it is necessary to explore the regional differences of China's export credit insurance in promoting the development of export trade,and give full play to its export promotion role through the coordination at the national level.In order to intuitively show the protection and promotion effect of export credit insurance on export trade and study the impact of unbalanced development in export credit insurance regions on export trade,this paper used 2003-2016 based on the panel data of 23 provinces and autonomous regions in China,this paper makes an empirical study on the impact of export credit insurance scale and imbalance of export credit insurance development on export trade.The study shows that export credit insurance has a promoting effect on expanding the scale of export trade,while the unbalanced development of export credit insurance has a restraining effect on the scale of export trade.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to improve the function of China's export credit insurance and formulate differentiated export credit insurance policies for the promotion of "One Belt And One Road".
