Under the new market environment,competition becomes stronger and stronger with much more diversity,not only limited between enterprises,but also involved suppliers.Currently the competition of supply chain management mainly focuses on the management of purchasing and suppliers as excellent supplier management can improve the company's purchasing efficiency,quality and its benefit as well.The research of this thesis is to find the key points to improve the company's performance via supplier management,and also to figure out how to improve the supply chain management and enhance supplier quality control so that a win-win relationship could be achieved in GST.Firstly,the thesis illustrates the background,purpose,significance,content and method of the research.The theory of supplier management is defined and the theoretical knowledge of supplier management and supply chain management is presented to be the foundation of the whole thesis.Secondly,the status of GST supplier management is analyzed.General purchasing process is depicted and followed by the qualified supplier management which is analyzed via several aspects to find the simplicity of supplier development mode,incompleteness of suppler assessment,high frequency of supplier change,and lack of effective supplier management.Further analysis of GST supplier management problems is conducted to get supplier selection,evaluation,assessment,incentive,purchasing personnel training and assessment covered,so that the problems of supplier management in GST are fully exposed.Then,it puts forward GST supplier management optimization scheme,principle and target of the optimization,and explains the main contents of optimization,including supplier selection and evaluation system,supplier assessment optimization,purchasing personnel training plan and performance evaluation system,supplier stability policy and incentive mechanism.Finally,the steps and key points of the implementation are given out.Finally,aiming at the optimization scheme of the supplier management in GST,this thesis develops some actions to ensure the implementation effect of the improvement measures,which plays a positive role in solving GST supplier management problems and improving the purchasing efficiency.Form a long term perspective,it is significant for the overall operation performance of the company.
