Under the strategy of "One Belt and One Road",the social economy is booming in China,and the transportation industry is also responding to the development trend of social economy and entering a new stage of development.With the guidance and support of relevant policies in China,the multimodal transport is encouraged in the transportation industry.Multimodal transport is an important strategic issue in the development of logistics industry in China.A complete multimodal transport network is actually a hub-and-spoke logistics network.In a hub-and-spoke logistics network,the goods in the entire network would be centralized to the central pivot point at first,and then be centrally distributed according to the destination.A large number of centralized transportation of goods from two dimensions of time and space could produce a certain scale economies effect,which indirectly reduces the unit transport cost of goods,increases the utilization of related resources,and promotes economic development.The combination of hub-and-spoke logistics network and multi-modal transport can maximize the advantages of the them and have a great economic benefit,which can also help the development of the transportation industry.Therefore,it is necessary to research the optimization of the hub-and-spoke multimodal transport logistics network.The relevant research of domestic and foreign scholars on the hub-and-spoke multimodal transport logistics network was summarized in this dissertation.And on the basis of the relevant theoretical knowledge,the model and method of traditional logistics network planning were studied.In order to minimize the total cost of the network eventually by selecting the right hub,determining a reasonable transportation path and choosing the appropriate transportation mode,an optimized model of the hub-and-spoke multimodal logistics network was built.At first,the research question was described in details.The scale economies effect of trunk road transport between hubs,the cost factors constituted by the fixed costs of the central hub construction and transportation costs,and service time limited by transportation,the impact of these three factors was analyzed.Different from the existing hub-and-spoke multimodal transport logistics network model,more realistic assumptions were put forward.And the parameters of related models were set.Theabove methods were all used to improve the model.Then,designed an algorithm to solve the model.By analyzing and comparing the performance of the optimization algorithm,this dissertation choosed the tabu search algorithm which was programmed by MATLAB and desighed an appropriate algorithm solution flow based on the improved hub-and-spoke multimodal transport logistics network model.Finally,an example was selected to verify the effectiveness of the optimization model and algorithm.In addition,the influence of different values of parameters on network structure and total cost such as the number of central hubs in the hub-and-spoke network,the cost discount factor associated with scale economies effect,and service time limit was analyzed.The result could be used as reference for the network construction of hub-and-spoke multimodal transport logistics network.
