Research On Overseas Warehouse Mode Selection Of Export Cross-border E-commerce

In recent years,cross-border e-commerce,as an emerging international trade mode,has begun to develop rapidly.At present,it has become the new focus and main driving force for the growth of foreign capital in China.E-commerce and logistics rely on each other for development,and the emerging cross-border logistics problems have a serious impact and restriction on the development of China's cross-border e-commerce.Overseas warehouse is the result of the interaction between cross-border e-commerce and cross-border logistics,and it is also the main trend of the future development of cross-border logistics.As an emerging logistics management mode,overseas warehouses are of great significance to the development of cross-border e-commerce.The government has also introduced a number of measures to help build overseas warehouses and included overseas warehouses in key construction projects.In recent years,scholars have conducted a large number of studies on overseas warehouses,mainly at the macro level,such as the strategic position analysis of overseas warehouses,the improvement mechanism of overseas warehouses and the introduction of mode analysis,etc.,but few studies have been conducted on the mode selection of overseas warehouses from the perspective of export cross-border e-commerce.Based on the analysis of overseas warehouse modes,this paper summarizes the characteristics of various modes and the basis for cross-border e-commerce enterprises to choose this mode,so as to help enterprises choose the appropriate overseas warehouse mode according to their own conditions.In the research content,the thesis is based on the relevant theoretical research of overseas warehouses.Combined with the characteristics of cross-border export ecommerce enterprises using overseas warehouses,the overseas warehouse mode is divided into three types.This thesis also analyses the advantage and disadvantage of each mode.Through the analysis of three specific overseas warehouse cases,this thesis proposes the basis for export cross-border e-commerce enterprises with different characteristics to choose the overseas warehouse mode.In terms of the micro level analysis of overseas warehouse mode selection,it is beneficial for export cross-border e-commerce enterprises to choose the right overseas warehouse mode.In the research method,this thesis mainly adopts literature analysis and cross-case analysis.Firstly,it sorts out the domestic and foreign literatures related to cross-border logistics and overseas warehouses,and summarizes the research ideas and methods of this thesis.Secondly,it introduces the scale,reasons and existing problems of domestic cross-border export e-commerce enterprises using overseas warehouses for foreign trade,and makes an in-depth analysis of the three modes of overseas warehouses.Thirdly,based on the overseas warehouse cases of successful enterprises,the thesis concludes the basis for cross-border e-commerce to choose the overseas warehouse mode.Finally,it summarizes the types of export cross-border e-commerce which are suitable for each mode,and puts forward suggestions for the development of overseas warehouses.The conclusions are as follows: Firstly,the advantages of export cross-border ecommerce in using overseas warehouses for cross-border transportation mainly include increasing product sales,improving customer satisfaction and promoting enterprise awareness.Secondly,three overseas warehouse modes,including self-built mode,third-party overseas warehouse mode and one-stop supporting service mode,are analyzed and summarized the advantages and disadvantages in depth.Thirdly,when China's cross-border e-commerce enterprises want to carry out overseas warehouse business,they should choose appropriate overseas warehouse mode according to their own situation.Based on the research results of this paper,corresponding suggestions are put forward at the end of this paper from the perspectives of the government,industry associations and cross-border export e-commerce.So as to let this thesis provide some references for enterprises to select and operate overseas warehouses.
