In recent years,with the rapid development of cross-border e-commerce,cross-border logistics issues have become increasingly prominent.The development of traditional cross-border logistics has stagnated and cannot keep up with the rapid development of cross-border e-commerce.It is against this background that overseas warehouses have emerged and become a new cross-border logistics method to solve the "last mile" pain point of cross-border e-commerce.Overseas warehouse breaks through the restrictions on the weight,volume,declared value and other factors of the traditional logistics model.It provides new ideas for local logistics distribution,greatly reducing distribution time and reducing logistics costs.The overseas warehouse's full tracking of the package reduces the packet loss rate,and the improvement of return and exchange and product repair and after-sales service improves consumer satisfaction and brings a good shopping experience to consumers.With the development of overseas warehouses,three different warehouse building models have gradually formed.As an emerging industry,the construction of overseas warehouses is still in the exploratory stage.Cross-border companies do not have sufficient understanding of different models of overseas warehousing.Factors that companies need to consider when choosing a model to open a warehouse are not clear.How to solve the problems facing overseas warehouse construction has become an important issue before us.This article takes the three development models of overseas warehouses as an object,and comparatively analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the development of overseas warehouses under the three models.This article points out the main problems facing the development of overseas warehouses and provides a reference for cross-border e-commerce companies to choose which model to build overseas warehouses.Cross-border e-commerce companies should combine the comprehensive strength of the company,product characteristics,and long-term planning of the company to choose different models of overseas warehouses.At the same time,this article selects three typical companies that develop overseas warehouse models as case objects,which more intuitively reflects the development and operation characteristics and differences of overseas warehouses of different models and further summarizes the experience of overseas warehouse construction in different models.Finally,according to the problems facing the development of overseas warehouses,this article proposes countermeasures for building overseas warehouses at the national and enterprise levels,further promotes the optimization and development of overseas warehouses.Builds a comprehensive cross-border logistics system,and realizes cross-border logistics and cross-border e-commerce.
