China's prosperous and splendid ancient civilization was formed on the basis of the rural economy and on the basis of the small-scale peasant economy. The modern civilization is based on the urban and industrialization, and is based on the commercial economy. As China enters the modern civilization of developed economies, urbanization is the way to go.The realization of common prosperity and the realization of the world's great thinking is not only the ideal pursued by the ancient philosophers, but also the ruling goal of the socialist countries.Reform and opening up is an important magic weapon for China to achieve today's achievements.A socialist system with Chinese characteristics is taking shape. However, when China's urbanization level exceeds the world average, the urban-rural income gap has reached an alarmingly high level. The Gini coefficient has remained above the international warning line of 0.4.The problem of excessive income gap has become a problem that China must face at this stage.solved problem.In-depth study and discussion of the relationship between urbanization, institutional changes and urban-rural income gap in the posturbanization era, exploring the mechanism of urbanization and institutional change factors on income distribution, and the greatness of crossing the middle-income trap and realizing the Chinese nation Renaissance has important theoretical and practical significance.First of all, this paper explores the relationship between the urbanization of China's urban and rural residents' income gap,and draws on the relevant research results at home and abroad, combing the basic theory in detail, and based on the development results of China's reform and opening up,on the national urbanization. The research on the status quo of development and the income level of residents shows that the level of urbanization in China has increased significantly. The urbanization rate has risen from 19.62% in 1980 to 57.35% in 2016,while the urban-rural income gap has narrowed-expanded.-Periodic changes in high position reduction.Secondly,in order to explore the urban-rural income gap in the rapid development of China's urbanization, this paper uses a combination of theoretical analysis and empirical analysis to study the narrowing of urban-rural income gap in the process of urbanization. In the theoretical analysis part, this paper attempts to explore the theoretical analysis framework of the evolution of urban-rural income gap in the process of urbanization from the perspective of division of labor and transaction efficiency. This analysis framework incorporates institutional factors into the study of income distribution. This clue analyzes the impact of the three institutional arrangements of land finance, social security system and marketization mechanism on urban-rural income gap.In the empirical analysis part, this paper constructs the proxy variables of land finance, social security system and marketization reform according to the characteristics of urbanization process with Chinese characteristics.Based on the provincial panel data of 30 provinces and cities in China from 2006 to 2016,The empirical study on the impact of the level of the level and related institutional variables on the urban-rural income gap shows that the shrinking effect of urbanization on the urban-rural gap since 2006 has begun to appear. The various institutional arrangements in the process of urbanization have generally improved transaction efficiency, promoted the evolution of the division of labor, and the shrinking effect of the urban-rural income gap. However, the adjustment of income redistribution by the social security system can temporarily narrow the income gap between urban and rural areas, but the effect in the long run is not obvious. The focus of narrowing income distribution should still be on the primary income distribution effect.Although the land finance system is widely criticized,it can still reduce the income gap between urban and rural areas.Market-oriented reforms have entered the deep-water zone and the difference between urban and rural marketization. The adjustment of urban-rural income gap is not comprehensive, and the government needs to play a role in making up for market failures. Finally, based on the research conclusions, this paper combines the actual situation of China, from the reform of the household registration system, deepening the rural land system reform, implementing the rural revitalization strategy, deepening the market mechanism reform and other aspects, put forward scientific countermeasures to further narrow the urbanrural income gap.
