As the leading industry of national economic development, industry plays a very important role in the process of economic development in China.Industrial modernization is the core and foundation of China's economic modernization, and the technical efficiency of industrial environment affects whether the whole national economy can develop healthily and rapidly. There are many studies on the influencing factors of industrial environmental technology efficiency in the existing literature.Few theses analyze the impact of industrial environmental technology efficiency from the perspective of urbanization, and the construction of urbanization development indicators is single. This thesis establishes a spatial econometric model to study the relationship between urbanization development system and technological efficiency of industrial environment in China.Firstly, this thesis calculates the index weight of the urbanization development system in China by constructing the comprehensive urbanization development index system, and calculates the scores of urbanization in all aspects. The data show that the development level of population urbanization and Economic Urbanization in the eastern region is larger than that in the central region, and that in the central region is larger than that in the western region. The development level of land urbanization in the central region is larger than that in the western region, and that in the western region is larger than that in the eastern region.Generally speaking, provinces and municipalities located in coastal areas such as Jiangsu,Shanghai,Tianjin,Shandong and Guangdong rank in the front rank in the level of urbanization development, and the level of urbanization development of provinces and municipalities is increasing year by year. Then, the impact mechanism of urbanization on technological efficiency of industrial environment is analyzed from three aspects: scale effect, technological level and sharing effect.Secondly, this thesis uses the super-efficiency SBM model of data envelopment model to measure the technical efficiency of industrial environment in 30 provinces and municipalities in China. The results show that the IETE values in the economically developed areas are relatively high. But in general, the IETE value of most provinces and cities in China is still at a relatively low level.Subsequently,we tested the spatial distribution of IETE in China's provinces and cities by Moran's index. The results show that there is a significant spatial correlation between IETE in China. Then, through LM,Wald and LR tests, the econometric model of urbanization's impact on industrial environmental technical efficiency is determined. Finally, the spatial lag model with double fixed effects is selected to analyze the impact of urbanization on industrial environmental technical efficiency. The results show that there is a U-shaped relationship between urbanization and technological efficiency of industrial environment in China.China's comprehensive urbanization and economic urbanization are at a significant stage of promoting the technical efficiency of industrial environment.Population urbanization has only begun to turn to the right side of the "U" type in recent years, and its effect on the technical efficiency of industrial environment in China has just changed from negative to positive. For land urbanization, most provinces promote the technical efficiency of industrial environment, which is on the right side of the "U" type, but there are still some western provinces on the left side of the "U" type. For example,Ningxia,Guizhou,Yunnan,Guangxi and other provinces, the technical efficiency of industrial environment is still in the inhibition stage.
