Since the reform and opening up 40 years ago, with the rapid development of economy, the third industry has not only achieved great development, but also become an important part of the economy and society. As an important part of the third industry, producer service industry has also achieved rapid development. Both theoretical research and practical development show that industrialization promotes urbanization. However, there are relatively few studies on whether urbanization promotes the development and agglomeration of producer services, and there is no consensus on theoretical research. Therefore,it is necessary to study the impact of urbanization on the agglomeration of producer services.Firstly, the related research literature is sorted out and summarized comprehensively.Secondly,by reviewing the development process of urbanization and productive services, the relationship between urbanization and productive services is analyzed qualitatively. On this basis, using the industry data of producer services in 30 provinces and autonomous regions of China from 2006 to 2016,by selecting and calculating the indicators that can accurately measure the variables,on the basis of fully simulating the scatter map of urbanization rate and the agglomeration relationship of producer services,a non-linear panel model is constructed to study the impact of urbanization on the agglomeration of producer services in China,as well as the eastern and central regions. The impact of urbanization in Western China on the agglomeration of producer services is analyzed objectively and deeply. The results show that: firstly, urbanization development significantly promotes the agglomeration of producer services, and the changes between them are U-shaped;secondly,the development of urbanization in the western region promotes the agglomeration of producer services more than that in the central region and the eastern region;thirdly, the development of urbanization in the central region promotes the agglomeration of producer services more than that in the eastern region;thirdly,The urbanization rate has the most significant impact onthe agglomeration of producer services. The improvement of the education level of labor force and traffic density also has a more obvious role in promoting the agglomeration of producer services, while the increase of the number, scale and output value of industrial enterprises has no obvious effect on the agglomeration of producer services.
