In 2018,the integration strategy of the Yangtze River Delta region rose to a national strategy, and the integration process accelerated again.Under the guidance of the newly issued planning outline, the long-term construction goal of the Yangtze River Delta region is to build a productive service industry and manufacturing industry that already have a good development trend into a national first-class industry production demonstration base.At the same time,in recent years, the economy in the Yangtze River Delta has been booming, and the scale of the producer service industry has expanded accordingly, which has formed a certain agglomeration effect. The total amount of manufacturing industry continues to expand, but in the process of production and operation, manufacturing companies that originally operated on resource consumption and low labor support have been gradually squeezed by the market, and the production model needs to be upgraded to a technology-intensive and knowledge-intensive direction.Combined with the current status of industry development, studying the impact of producer services agglomeration on the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry clearly has both theoretical and practical significance for understanding and improving the status quo. This article has conducted two parts of theoretical and empirical research.During the theoretical analysis, this article summarizes related research on the agglomeration of productive service industries and the transformation and upgrading of manufacturing industries in the literature review, and selects five sub-sectors in the service industry as the agency industries of productive service industries.Four more mature theories on the relationship between manufacturing and productive service industries are analyzed, and scholars' studies on the impact of productive service industry clusters on the transformation and upgrading of manufacturing industries are reviewed in the literature. As the theoretical support of the research in this article, the points are explained according to the different mechanisms. As the basic work of the article's transition from theory to empirical work, this article analyzes the current status of productive service industries and manufacturing industries in the Yangtze River Delta, describes the scale changes and development trends from 2008 to 2017,and secondly focuses on productive service industries.Indicators and manufacturing transformation and upgrading indicators were constructed and calculated.During the empirical analysis, the Moran test shows that the manufacturing transformation and upgrading in the Yangtze River Delta region has spatial autocorrelation, and the production service industry agglomeration has spillover effects on the manufacturing industry. This paper discusses the production service industry agglomeration by constructing a spatial data model.Impact on the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry.Through LM test and RLM test, determine whether it is necessary to use the spatial lag or spatial error model, instead of choosing ordinary models for empirical research.Through Wald test and LR test, verify that the use of the spatial Dubin model is in line with the data requirements, and It is not one of the spatial error and spatial lag models;Hausman's test is performed, and it can be judged that the fixed effect should be used based on the test value being positive. After the above tests, the fixed SDM model of time and space is the empirical model required for this paper. After using model software to analyze the model,we can see that the gathering of productive service industries in the Yangtze River Delta region has promoted the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry. It will also have a positive impact on the transformation and upgrading of manufacturing in neighboring cities.
