The Optimization Of Production Scheduling For A Company's High Pressure Heaters Manufacturing

Due to the intensely fierce market competition,many of customers do not only consider the usefulness of the product,but also begin to put their eyes on cycle time of manufacturing.Therefore,it is necessary to develop a production plan anew,as well as to shorten the production cycle by using related theories and optimization methods,which has become a positive respond to the rapid changes of the external environment and a quite crucial method to enhance the competitive strength in this market.Connecting with the enterprise production status,it is considered that overdue production is resulted from improper schedulings,which leads to fluctuation of customers and incline of the manufacturing efficiency.Base on the research literature on schedulings,the study will combine the characteristics of high pressure heaters,net weight and fixed-point production,to propose an optimization that to transform this multi-stage scheduling into a single-phase one based on the bottleneck theory by an analysis of “production line balance rate”.With some optimization indexes such as “delivery deadline” and “order benefits”,a “WSPT” rule is re-set as the optimization of production scheduling for the production after some regular scheduling rules fail to reach a satisfied meet.With the analysis and assessment of a typical order,the result will show how the optimization scheme can shorten the production process time with a number of evaluation indexes,and concludes that the result does enhance the efficiency of the production system of the enterprise and actively improve the on-time delivery rate.
