Effects Of Rice Seed Production Insurance On Farmer's Planting Behavior In Fujian Province

In recent years,in order to support rural revitalization,China has introduced a series of policy measures.Policy-based agricultural insurance is one of the important policy measures to promote rural revitalization,and plays a key role in farmers' response to natural disasters and maintaining stable income.As one of the five major seed productions in the country,Fujian Province has a rice seed production scale of 20,600 hm2 and an annual total output of about 60 million kg.The stable development of rice seed production in Fujian Province is related to national food security.In order to ensure the stable development of the rice seed production industry in Fujian Province,the People's Property Insurance Fujian Branch launched the policy rice seed insurance in 2010.However,in the past eight years of rice seed production insurance,scholars have paid less research on whether rice seed production insurance guarantees the stable development of rice seed production industry in Fujian Province and promotes farmers' planting enthusiasm.Therefore,this paper explores the impact of policy-based rice seed production insurance from the micro level of farmer's planting behavior,and provides substantial data support for the rice seed production insurance in Fujian Province,which affects the enthusiasm of farmers for seed production,and improves the government and insurancecompanies in the future.Advice on the role of rice seed insurance is also provided.The article firstly studies the research results of agricultural insurance on the cultivation behavior of farmers at home and abroad from the aspects of farmers' behavior and agricultural insurance.Most of the literature have stated that policy-based agricultural insurance has the function of changing farmers planting behaviors,which can improve farmers' enthusiasm for agricultural production and promote the development of China's primary industry.On this basis,combined with the actual situation of rice seed production industry in Fujian Province,the paper analyzes the impact mechanism of rice seed production insurance on farmers' planting behaviors.Based on the data of 367 farmer households obtained from this rural survey,the rice system of Fujian Province is adopted.An empirical study on the effects of insurance on farmers' planting behaviors,mainly using the logistic model and multiple linear regression models commonly used in empirical analysis.The satisfaction of the guarantee level of rice seed insurance and the evaluation of insurance services are used as independent variables to demonstrate the rice system of Fujian Province.The actual impact of insurance on the farming behavior of farmers,the results show that whether it is to study whether rice seed insurance has an impact on farmers' planting behavior,or how much influence,the satisfaction levelof rice seed insurance insurance and the impact of insurance service evaluation The coefficients are all positive and are all at a significant level of 1%.In summary,this paper can draw the following conclusions: With the continuous improvement of policy-based rice seed production insurance in Fujian Province,the scale of rice seed production industry is also expanding year by year.The rice seed production insurance in Fujian Province has a significant improvement effect on the sustainable development of the seed production industry.The cultivation behavior of most farmers will change due to the existence of rice seed insurance in Fujian Province.The higher the level of protection for rice seed insurance,the higher the farmer's agriculture The larger the resource allocation,the easier it is to form a large household.At the same time,the better the insurance service situation,the more the farmers can trust the insurance,and thus the resource allocation of insurance crops.This method of assigning regression analysis to the data that different insured farmers provide their own choices of insurance views is very different from the previous literature on whether farmers have insured agricultural insurance to study their effects on farmers' behaviors.The farmer's planting behavior effect is more reliable,and it is enriching the innovative perspective of agricultural insurance impact effect research.Finally,in order to make the rice seed production insurance in Fujian Province betterrecognized by the farmers,improve the farmers' seed production enthusiasm,and ensure the sustainable development of the rice seed production industry in Fujian Province,and put forward corresponding suggestions.
