Urban-rural integration and its evaluation, which relate to many complex indicators has become a research focus of many scholars in the related fields. It is very hard to collect and process the data, And even many of them can not be quantified or is very hard to obtain quantified indicators data. For this reason, the evaluation system which is universal and easy to operate was unable to find although many scholars have tried to explore it.In this paper, based on the actual situation of urban-rural integration of Anhui Province and existing statistical data, we have systematacially analyzed and discussed about these affecting factors. And we explored how to constructure the indicator system of comprehensive evaluation and how to evaluate them with it. Based on existing methods of comprehensive evaluation and knowledge reduction and attribute importance in the theory of rough set, we present an indicator system including 22 indicators and several comprehensive evaluation models to evaluate the level of urban-rural integration, and apply them to Anhui Province. The main work and results are the following:1. Based on summarizing the basic theory of urban-rural integration and analyzing factors that affect the level of of the integration, we built an indicator system including 22 indicators to comprehensively evaluate it.2. For realizing comprehensive evaluation about the integration, we established AHP, principal component analysis and factor analysis evaluation model, and realized to evaluate the integration level of 17 cities in Anhui Province. Its practical application results show the rationality of the indicator system and the strong consistency of these comprehensive evaluation results.3. Considering the difficulties and inconveniences which the indicator system containing 22 indicators probably bring in the actual operation for the large number of indicators, based on knowledge reduction and attribute importance, we simplified it and obtained a new indicator system with 7 indicators. And we established a comprehensive evaluation model based on the theory of rough set which used attribute importance as weights to form a composite indicator, The practicality and feasiblity of the method were verified by having evaluated the integration level of 17 cities in Anhui Province.4. Based on knowledge dependence and attribute significance in the theory of rough set, an ensemble evaluation model which can integrate the evaluation results of four comprehensive evaluation models that were built was established and implemented to integrationally evaluate the integration level of 17 cities in Anhui Province. The integrational evaluation results show that the model is more scientific and practical,...
