A Study On Training For Expatriate Employees In KASAPREKO Company Limited In Ghana

Kasapreko Company Limited in Ghana has been facing low performance issues for expatriates and the main reason for that is the employee cross cultural training.This study aims to rectify the issue and other related variables and their effects on employee performance.KASAPREKO COMPANY LIMITED(KCL)is one of the leading and successful alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage producers in Ghana.The company has about 192 foreign employees from different countries.In this Research language training,cross cultural training and pre-departure training has been selected to check the impacts of the said variables on expatriate employee performance.A literature review was conducted to find the related studies and theories.The design of this study includes quantitative methods.Questionnaires were distributed in 192 questionnaires in foreign employee and completely filled responses were received then recorded and analyzed for results.Descriptive analysis was performed to check the characteristics of the data collected from the questionnaires.Furthermore;mean standard deviation and correlation was performed to check the impacts of variables on employee performance.The results of the study showed that all the three variables language training,cross-cultural training,and pre-departure training have positive and significant impacts on the success of expatriates in Ghana.The high levels of employee performance for expatriates are influenced by several factors such as cross-cultural training,and pre-departure training.These factors help employees to overcome cultural shocks and increase their output.
