With China's entry into the WTO & the high-speed development of E-commerce,the needs of express explode rabidly.The international express companies expand their trade in China,improve their logistic network and service,since then enlarge the share market.Express distribution center is one important part of international express logistic network,which is the logistic point for sorting,connecting,collecting,distributing & delivering.Selecting a proper site as express distribution center,it can mostly help the logistic company to reduce the cost & logistic operation cycle,improve the competitive ability in service industry.Contrarily,improper site selection will impact the daily operation & service,increase the running cost etc.Therefore,it's necessary to analysis the site search and selection by the quantitative and qualitative evaluation technologies.This thesis,we would study on how to establish a complete international logistics distribution center location evaluation system for one of the Top 500 International enterprise-X company's distribution center in Shenzhen downtown.Analysis the key factors for site logistic center selection after summarizing the theoretical methods & process of the benchmarking in enterprises.Through reviewing X company distribution centers' general problem about site selection at present,analysis the main factors that impact the site selection regarding Shenzhen express distribution center.According to the customers density & route division,evaluate the center location with minimum transportation costs by improved gravity method.Using AHP to estimate the alternative sites through the internal conditions,external environment and economic benefits.In the end,comparing the net present value(NPV)among the original center & the best alternatives,come out the final decision which meets the needs.In summary,the thesis based on gravity method,AHP,NPV and the international express characteristic,study the case about X international express company Shenzhen logistic distribution center.Providing the heoretical and practical guidance about express logstic center location research to similar enterprises.It's replicable & pratical.It's the good reference for studying about logistic location search.
