Foreign direct investment is one of the important factors in promoting the economic development of countries receiving investment,helping them to quickly integrate into the world economy.Vietnam is in the process of industrialization and modernization,and foreign direct investment capital plays a great role.In addition,the Vietnam government is particularly concerned about attracting foreign direct investment and creating favorable conditions for such sources of funds to enter the Vietnamese economy.In recent years,China's foreign direct investment has rapidly increased.Chinese enterprises have won the support of the China government in the "going global" strategy of rapidly expanding overseas investment.With its rich economic potential,China is expected to become a rich and effective source of financing for recipient countries.The countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations(ASEAN)have their own advantages and are potential destinations for funding from this huge neighbor.As a member of ASEAN,with similar economic characteristics to those of other countries in the region,opportunities to attract China's foreign direct investment are expanding to Vietnam.Therefore,it is an urgent problem for Vietnam to studying and analyzing the use of China's direct investment in Vietnam,and then drawing lessons and find the right direction and solutions to attract this potential direct investment capital.This paper analyzes the current situation of China's direct investment in Vietnam and its overall impact on Vietnam's economy and society.It aims to draw lessons from the experience of attracting China's investment in some countries in Southeast Asia.In order to further improve Vietnam's foreign direct investment policy,it proposes an effective strategy to attract China's foreign direct investment.
