The strong bond of China and Vietnam was built in the cooperation intrading and economics and soon the bonds between the two countries would be even more enhanced due to the inclination of Chinese enterprises to be increasing their investment in VietNam.As a country of socialism, Vietnam is right on the tail of China in terms of the model of business development. Both the countries are actively promoting the opening-up to other countries and counstructing a unrestrained environment for investment, hence captured many foreign traders to invest in the countries. After the reform and opening-up of Vietnam, the development of its economy has been hastened. In the recent years, Vietnam has been an important target for foreign investment among the ASEAN countries. Under the influence of China on the strategy of "stepping out", foreign investment in Vietnam has also been increased by a wide margin. According to the statistics by Vietnamese experts, there were61direct investment projects by Chinese traders, with a total protocol fund of US$1.3hundred million, in Vietnam during the year2003. Up tp2010, the number has increased to84investment projects, with the protocol fund reaching over US$4hundred million. The investment of Chinese traders in Vietnam is hiting the right time, right place and the right target. Therefore, the increase of direct investment of Chinese traders in Vietnam is rapid. However, there are also several problems and challenges faced by the Chinese investors, including the issue of small scaling, simplexity, unequivocal strategy, feasibility, the lack of research in risk management and so on.This dissertation focuses on these areas of Chinese enterprises direct investment in Viet Nam:The current condition and characteristics, the impacts on domestics economics, critical issues and problems, essential policies, ect...
