Research On Centralized Procurement Management Of Zhengzhou Branch Of China Merchants Bank

As China’s economy enters the new normal,the economic growth slows down and the economy shows a downward trend,and the banking industry also loses its former glory.In the past three years,although the accumulative net profit of the banking industry has increased year by year,the growth rate in the same period has been decreasing year by year.The financial monopoly of Banks has been broken,all kinds of capital has begun to flow in,the competition for funds is becoming more and more fierce,and the competition among financial institutions is becoming more and more fierce.In order to ensure the steady growth of commercial Banks’ profits,strengthen internal operation and management,reasonable control of operating costs has become particularly important.Only by controlling the source through throttling can the cost be controlled and the input-output ratio be improved,can the competitiveness be maintained.Centralized procurement management,with its characteristics of reducing procurement cost,standardizing procurement behavior and preventing procurement risks,has become an important part of internal cost control and risk prevention of commercial Banks.This paper takes the author’s unit,China merchants bank zhengzhou branch,as the research object,through the study of the author’s centralized procurement management,so as to explore the existing problems in the current management,analyze the reasons,and finally put forward the optimization countermeasures.Since I joined the zhengzhou branch of China merchants bank in 2014,I have been working in the front-line and the middle and background respectively.At the beginning of 2017,I was transferred to the financial department of the branch for centralized procurement management.Based on the author’s actual work experience,this paper explores the problems existing in the centralized procurement management of China merchants bank zhengzhou branch by means of field investigation and research,internal discussion,employee interview and questionnaire survey,and analyzes the reasons based on relevant theoretical knowledge,and finally proposes optimization countermeasures.Through investigation and research,the author found that the centralized procurement management of China merchants bank zhengzhou branch has problems in the implementation of procurement results,supplier management and the establishment of procurement system.According to the relevant theoretical knowledge and combined with China merchants bank,zhengzhou branch centralized purchasing management work reality,the author think should strengthen the internal and external communication,China merchants bank,zhengzhou branch set up before,during and after the supplier evaluation system,perfecting the construction of centralized purchasing system,change the relationship with the selected suppliers,through the above measures to solve the problems existing in the current management.Through this paper,I hope to help China merchants bank zhengzhou branch to improve the level of centralized procurement management,and give play to the business support services and value creation functions of centralized procurement management.
