In recent years,China has provided policy support and encouragement to promote the reform of state-owned capital operation companies,but the theoretical research and practical exploration of business model is still at the early stage.On the one hand,the state-owned capital operation company has taken on the responsibility of reforming non-performing assets and debts,while facing the difficulties of business decentralization among subsidiaries and lack of core advantages,therefore there will be greater challenges for the business model innovation.On the other hand,although capital operation is not new in China,there is no mature model and short of reference in the nation on how to operate a state-owned capital operation company,and the only way is to constantly explore and innovate in practice.GK Group,as an important subject of state-owned capital operation in Henan Province,is not only a typical representative of local state-owned capital operation companies,but also has regional uniqueness and environmental complexity in its business model innovation.Therefore,the study of GK Group's business model innovation has great significance for enriching theoretical research and resolving practical problems.In view of the challenges faced by the business model of the state-owned capital operation company,this paper attempts to through the study of the current situation and practical problems in GK Group,as well as compare and analyze with the advanced strategies existing in the business model of other state-owned capital operation companies,and put forward concrete suggestions and implementation measures on how to innovate the business model of GK Group by using the business model canvas.To be specific,this study mainly carries out the following three aspects of work.Firstly,based on the actual situation of GK Group,analyze the key elements of the business model with the business model canvas tool,and perform SWOT analysis of the internal and external development environment,and makes a comprehensive analysis of the current situation and problems of GK Group's business model through on-the-spot questionnaire research and in-depth interviews;Secondly,three state-owned capital operation companies including Chengtong,Chongqing Yufu and Henan Investment,are selected as benchmarking companies to compare and analyze their basic situation,value proposition and core competence in order to seek reference and gain experience for business model innovation.Thirdly,based on the key elements,includeing value proposition,customer interface,core resources,partner network and finance are analyzed respectively with the business model canvas analysis tools are separately analyzed,try to construct the business model of ecological value chain model,and propose the corresponding innovation path and countermeasures.Theoretically,this study analyzes the path of business model innovation based on the key elements of business model,and further expands the theory of business model innovation for the special object of state-owned capital operation companies.In practice,this study not only provides specific suggestions for promoting the innovative business model of GK Groupl,but also provides inspiration for the innovative business model of other local state-owned capital operation companies.
