Vegetable Industry Situation And Development Countermeasures Of Dingbian County Of Shaanxi Province

Vegetables are essential foods to maintain human health.Since the reform and opening up,Dingbian County of Shaanxi Province has developed into a large agricultural county after years of development.The vegetable industry has become one of its leading agricultural industries,and the planting area of melons and vegetables has been maintained at around 13,300 hectares.With the continuous expansion of planting area,some problems have gradually emerged in the development of vegetable industry.Combining with the actual production,this paper focuses on investigating and analyzing the current situation of vegetable industry in Dingbian County,and proposes solutions and suggestions to solve the problems.This article did full investigation and analysis of the natural environment conditions and actual production situation of vegetable production in Dingbian County.By reviewing existing documents,conducting on field studies,exploring the data and applying SWOT analysis,the internal advantages,disadvantages,external opportunities and risks of the development of vegetable industry in Dingbian County are revealed.The method,strategy and maintenance are discussed in the hope to provide a reference for healthy,fast and sustainable development of vegetable industry in Dingbian County.Conclusions:1.The development of vegetable industry in Dingbian County has the advantages of suitable natural environment,superior infrastructure,scalable industry and evenly distributed resources,good quality and safety level and strong support from the government.At the same time,it also has the disadvantages of poor variety in product portfolio,relatively concentrated market supply period,lack of scientific and technological input,lack of brands,low proficiency in the producers and low utilization of facilities.It has the opportunity of strong industrial development trend and market prospects,but also the necessity to deal with the threat of frequent natural disasters,lack of water resources and pollution of cultivated land.2.The development of vegetable industry should adhere to the principle of sustainable development and quality-oriented.Five suggestions are put forward: scientific planning and rational layout,scientific and technological support and comprehensive upgrading,standardizing production and improving quality,building brand and expanding market,improving system and steadily developing.It is also pointed out four safeguard measures.Scientific and technological support should be strengthened,quality and safety system construction should be accelerated,brand construction should be emphasized,and government support should be strengthened.
