| Supplier performance evaluation is one of the complex decision-making problems in supply chain management.Its complexity is mainly reflected in two aspects.On the one hand,the diversity of performance evaluation models,methods and indicators involves different evaluation criteria;on the other hand,performance evaluation and results are closely related to the business environment and business logic behind the decision-making organization entities.These problems have brought great challenges to the relevant personnel in the industry and academia.this paper will provide new ideas for supplier performance evaluation in the new retail business scenario.In the literature of supplier performance evaluation,only a few studies use data envelopment analysis(DEA).In the study of supplier performance evaluation using Data Inclusion Analysis(DEA),supplier performance is not evaluated as a whole.This paper will focus on this point,starting from the upstream and downstream of the whole supply chain,linking the upstream suppliers and downstream customers,through the analysis of the operation process of suppliers in different segments of the supply chain,the corresponding indicators can be obtained.At the same time,data envelopment analysis(DEA)model is introduced to quantitatively analyze the relevant indicators,calculate supplier performance and further determine the effectiveness and performance ranking.The development and evolution of supply chain management must be closely related to its business form and business background.That is to say,in a certain business form and background,through the gradual adjustment of supply chain management,to improve the level of enterprise management.This view is particularly important for supplier management.At present,in the literature of supplier performance evaluation,there is a lack of discussion on business management process and business form behind supplier management.This makes the analysis of the indicators,as well as the supplier performance based on these indicators can’t be perfectly matched to the supplier management process,resulting in the implementation of resource allocation measures based on the above performance is not good.This paper will go deep into the new retail business form,analyze the internal process and characteristics of this business scenario,and combine with the supplier management process,give targeted and practical improvement measures.To achieve the effect of"from business to business".The research methods and indicators adopted in this paper are not only applicable to the supplier performance evaluation in the context of new retail,but also have a positive effect on the further practice and research of supplier management practitioners and researchers.They can also be used for reference in the performance evaluation of suppliers in many different industries. |
