With the deepening influence of technology and technological progress on people's daily life in the information society era,e-commerce has become a common sales and trading assistant.The development of e-commerce has not only brought about the rapid rise of online retail industry,but also led the national economy.The development of new growth poles has also promoted the transformation and upgrading of traditional physical retailing to online retail.According to the industry life cycle theory,e-commerce has entered a mature period after a period of rapid growth,and the growth rate has slowed down markedly.The original market advantage has gradually disappeared.The competition among online retailers has become fierce and has begun to transform..From "offline to online" and then "online to offline",retail enterprises are in the era of rapid change of information.It seems that they must quickly sense changes in the market environment and timely transformation and upgrading in order to compete in fierce competition.Survive.In the middle,it contains the inherent rules and logic of the evolution of the retail industry.Through comparative analysis of the typical retail formats of the world,this paper hopes to find commonality from the personality and summarize the process of retail transformation and upgrading.The development logic in the industry helps retail companies make the right strategic decisions and improve market competitiveness.In order to comprehensively explore the development logic of the transformation and upgrading of retail enterprises,this paper adopts the case analysis method,selects the typical retail formats of the world,and deduces,deducts and summarizes the logic and process of retail development.Representative retail companies selected include: Wal-Mart,Yonghui Supermarket,Zhongbai,Ewu,7-Eleven,Amazon,Alibaba and Jingdong.The narrative structure of this paper mainly includes the following aspects:The first is the introduction,expounding the research background and the significance of the research,and the reasons for the research and the problems to be solved.Through the review and review of the existing literature at home and abroad,the reference system of the research is established.On the basis of the existing research,Find out the inadequacies of the research and hope to achieve innovation in research perspectives and research methods.The second part is the analysis of the macro environment of retail development,including economic environment,technical environment and social environment.Through this chapter,we understand the external environment and threats of the development of retail industry.The third part summarizes and reviews the development status of different formats,including the sales,net profit,number of stores and main revenue components of the company in the past ten years.On this basis,it analyzes the evolution characteristics of different formats in the past ten years,and Preliminary study of the law.The fourth part is the motivation and strategy analysis of the transformation and upgrading of the retail industry.This paper believes that there are four aspects of motivation,which has made the development of retail industry show different development trends in the past decade,including the improvement of consumer information capabilities,the conversion of hidden demand into explicit demand,new functions brought by technological innovation,and consumption.Four aspects of the upgrade of capabilities and concepts.Driven by different drivers,various formats have adopted different development strategies to cope with fierce market competition and achieve business transformation and upgrading.The fifth part is based on the retail cases of the world,and summarizes the logic of the transformation and upgrading of the retail industry.This paper believes that the transformation and upgrading of the retail industry follows three aspects: the modernization of business concepts based on changes in consumer behavior,the quality of business content based on the upgrading of consumption structure,and the diversification of business models based on corporate innovation.In addition,this paper combines the development and transformation of the retail industry,and proposes the characteristics of the future transformation trend of the retail industry.Finally,it is the conclusion,which summarizes the difficulties and difficulties of this research,and proposes the next research direction.
