Anti-Dumping refers to the resistance adopted by a country to dumping products of other countries in its domestic import market,it is also a means of trade protection for a government to protect its related industries from the dumping of exporting countries.Although the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade imposes explicit restrictive provisions on trade protection measures,anti-dumping as a trade protection measure permitted by the WTO has always been the most common means of application among trading countries.Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the United States, the volume of trade between the two countries has increased year by year.As of 2017,the trade volume between China the United States has increased to 583.68 billion dollars. However,as the trade dependence on Sino-US is getting higher and higher, the issue of trade friction will gradually increase, and anti-dumping has become the main means for the United States to implement trade protection against China. For the anti-dumping issue between China and the United States, this paper adopts the HS six-digit code data of the products involved in anti-dumping cases initiated by the United States from 1995 to 2017,mainly using negative binomial regression model, threshold regression model,Chow test,counter-factual estimation and other measurement methods. It studies the mechanism of the influencing factors of the US anti-dumping on China's related industry products from theoretical and empirical aspects, and the degree of influence of US anti-dumping on the trade value of China's exports to the US industry, the proportion of exports and the trade deficit of the US.The results of the article show that China's accession to the WTO,import penetration rate, product export comparative advantage and trade deficit growth rate have a significant correlation with the US anti-dumping against China.Among them, import penetration rate, product export comparative advantage and trade deficit growth rate have thresholds, and have a significant nonlinear impact mechanism on US anti-dumping.Second,the US anti-dumping has caused significant trade export disruption effects, trade deficit suppression effects, and trade export deflection effects, but trade effectshave short-term significant effects. In the long run, there is a trend of sustained, recovery and rebound, and there are obvious differences in trade effects for the anti-dumping of different industries. The theoretical empirical research in this paper shows that the anti-dumping of US products related to China has caused trade disruption and trade deflection effect on China's exports to the United States, and at the same time inhibited the US trade deficit with China, which may eventually reduce the trade market between China and the United States, and therefore the US anti-dumping is damaging to the trade development between China and the United States. Therefore,in response to the US anti-dumping issue against China, while China continues to maintain a good and sustained trade relationship with the rest of the world,it is necessary to take effective measures to reduce the amount of anti-dumping against US related industries in China.
