Research On "Internet Plus Popularization Of Science" In Rural Area Of Yangzhong City

With the progress of the reform in the agriculture and rural economy system in China,traditional rural popular science with newspapers,books,radios and televisions as the main medium have been unable to meet the urgent needs of agriculture,countryside and farmers for information resources,this requires that rural science should adapt to the development of the new situation,innovation in the ways,means,and concepts of popular science work.With the inheritance and enhancement of the traditional popular science,the mode of "Internet plus Popularization of Science" has emerged.At present,the "Internet plus Popularization of Science" in rural area of Yangzhong City has been at the stage of trial implementation,which has achieved certain results,but also faces many problems.Besides elaborating on the basic concepts of rural popular science and "Internet plus Popularization of Science",this paper also discusses the new public service theory and public goods theory.By means of questionnaire and field interview,this paper has surveyed and also analyzed the implementation status of "Internet plus Popularization of Science" in rural area of Yangzhong City.Through research and analysis,the findings of this study are as follows: Firstly,the popular science integrating information screen,TV,radio,newspaper,popular science website,popular science WeChat and rural popular science e station has basically taken form since the implementation of "Internet plus Popularization of Science" in rural area of Yangzhong City in 2016.However,it is still faced with some problems,including the low level of awareness of "Internet plus Popularization of Science" among the farmers,the low level of utilizing "Internet plus Popularization of Science",the low level of participating in the activities and the low level of recognizing "Internet plus Popularization of Science".Secondly,the reasons for those problems include the imperfect management system of "Internet plus Popularization of Science" in rural areas,the simple means of publicity,the inadequate financial input,the low quality of the relevant content as well as the farmers' low quality of scientific culture.Thirdly,considering the main cause of those problems and also drawing on the relevant work experience in developed countries,this paper has put forward some countermeasures,including diversifying the work ideas for "Internet plus Popularization of Science",improving the quality of the content and also enhancing the service ability of "Internet plus Popularization of Science".
