With the rapid rise of e-commerce,express industry has become an industry full of broad market prospects and development potential.However,China 's express delivery enterprises are in the rapid growth stage,there still exist a lot of problems such as a low level utility of information,express loss of high damage rate and poor service attitude.To get a clearer understanding of the deficiencies in the operation of Express enterprises and improve the direction improvement,the establishment of a scientific and complete performance evaluation system is very necessary.Chinese scholars are mainly concerned about the process of logistics and the role of research,and the study of performance evaluation is not sufficient.How to set up a set of performance evaluation mechanism which can evaluate the development situation of express enterprises scientifically and effectively,and find out the enterprise problems in order to seek long-term development has become an important task for managers of enterprises.This paper,based on the DEA method as the main research method,summarizes the domestic and foreign research results on the performance evaluation of logistics enterprises,and selects 10 express enterprises as the research decision units including EMS,Shun Fung,Yuantong and other.In this paper,according to the basic principle of DEA method and the analysis of previous literatures,the corresponding input and output indexes are established,the DEA model is set up and the corresponding efficiency values of each enterprise are calculated.Based on the analysis of the results,the paper puts forward some suggestions for improving the enterprise management.
