Among all factors of enterprise productivity,human resources are the most positive factor.In business management,both Frederick Winslow Taylor’s scientific management concept and the modern management concept of people-oriented emphasis on people.Enterprise management is based on “people” to effectively develop human resources through scientific means,which mainly includes talent selection,training,work motivation and so on.With the development of Vietnamese’s economy,business management plays an increasingly important role in both manufacturing and service industries.In Vietnam,the level of service industry is a symbol of economic development.Meanwhile chain hotels in the service industry promote the economic development of Vietnam.Chain hotels refer to hotel operated under the mode of alliance operation.Their strong brand influences professional management and society favor the prices.The development of chain hotels has an inevitable relationship to employees.Employees’ working attitude often effects the profitability of hotels.Therefore,the main body of this study is the chain hotel,taking Muong Thanh Hotel in Vietnam as the research object,adopting the literature review,questionnaire survey method,comparative analysis method,case analysis method to explore how to scientifically manage the staff of the chain hotel and maintain the relationship between hotel managers and employees,employees and customers.In the management of the chain hotels,work motivation is closely to rational use of talents.To tap and mobilize staffs’ work motivation is the key to give full play to staffs’ work enthusiasm.The paper focuses on Vietnamese industrial development,domestic and foreign scholars’ research on Hotel staffs’ work motivation,and the way to motivate staffs’ work motivation.Combining with the concept,composition,theory of work motivation and the research status of domestic and foreign scholars on work motivation,this paper divides the work motivation into hobby motivation,Learning development motivation,Achievement motivation,responsibility motivation,compensation motivation,communication motivation,and promotion motivation.Taking Muong Thanh Hotel in Vietnam as an example,this paper makes the basic situation and motivation of the Muong Thanh Hotel staffs through a questionnaire survey.SPSS software was used to analyze the differences of working motivation among employees of Muong Thanh Hotel in terms Ages,Gender,Educational Background,and Positions.The influence of hotel environment,employees themselves,incentives and other factors on employees’ working motivation were analyzed in depth.This paper makes an analysis and comparison of countermeasures aiming at the staffs’ work motivation,and gives the experience of Muong Thanh Hotel for reference.At the same time,it solves the problem of the staffs’ work motivation in Muong Thanh Hotel by optimizing performance appraisal,improving working environment,formulating reasonable training programs and optimizing hotel culture.
