Total factor productivity(TFP)is a performance index reflecting the transformation of input into output, and resource reallocation is the obvious phenomenon of economic growth. The relationship between TFP and resource reallocation is mainly reflected in the "structural bonus hypothesis".Studies show that the effect of resource reallocation is an important part of productivity growth. It is a special period of industrial structure adjustment in China now.The cost of inputs is rising, and the constraints on resources are gradually increasing. Thus, this is the important way to promote development in the service industry by optimizing the resource reallocation and improving the productivity.Firstly, the paper defines the concepts and classification of service industry, resource reallocation and productivity. It also elaborates the relevant theories of resource allocation and the main economic models in this paper.Secondly, the paper analyses the current situation of service industry. It also elaborates the change of output structure and resource allocation structure.Thirdly, the paper calculates the effect of resource reallocation on labor productivity and capital productivity with the Shift-share Method. The empirical results show that the ?structural bonus? is significant in the impact of labor reallocation on the growth of labor productivity;the ?structural burden? exists in the impact of capital reallocation on the growth of capital productivity.Besides, the paper calculates and analyses the impact of resource reallocation on the growth of TFP with the Syrquin multinational model. The result shows that the ?structural burden? exists before 2010,since then the ?structural bonus? is gradually significant. Finally, this paper makes the suggestions on optimizing the resources allocation in China's service industry.
