With the development of domestic and international tourism and the improvement of people's living standards,rural tourism as an emerging way of tourism,is getting more and more attention and favor.Because it meets tourist needs of leisure,knowledge and return to nature,and protects the ecological environment.China's rural tourism started late,but it has rapidly grown into a new growth point of tourism industry and rural economic in recent years.However,there 's been some problems,such as serious homogenization,project advancement difficulties,and ecological damage.In this background,this paper takes Banan District of Chongqing as the research object.Through the methods of data collection,field investigation and case comparison,this paper analyses four different types of rural tourism development modes: natural scenic area relying,rural culture,agricultural industries and suburban leisure.Through comparative analysis with similar regions,this paper analyzes the advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and challenges,explores the construction of rural tourism development model in Banan District and its policy measures.Through the research,this paper thinks that Banan District's rural tourism should choose the development mode of suburban leisure,Focus on leisure and vacation projects,such as leisure sports,quality accommodation,living farms,health and old-age care,upgrades other types of projects into suburban leisure projects.At the same time,it puts forward the policy guarantee measures of rural tourism development mode in Banan District: improving the rural tourism management system,engaging multiple actors in cooperation,innovating mechanism to solve land bottlenecks,increasing financial investment,strengthening management service level,training professional personnel,and broadening the channels of publicity and marketing.
