Evaluation Of The City Tourism Competitiveness In Liaocheng Section Of The Beijing-Hangzhou Canal And The Study On Improving Countermeasures

As a "living linear cultural heritage",the Grand Canal is rich in tourism resources,unique and diverse in culture,ecology and environment,which constitute the sustainable value of Grand Canal tourism.Since the successful declaration of the Beijing-Hangzhou Canal,they have been highly valued by the cities along the Canal,especially in Tianjin,Jining,Zaozhuang,Xuzhou,Yangzhou,Suzhou,Hangzhou and other canal cities.They have actively created their own brand of canal tourism.It has promoted the integration of canal tourism and canal culture elements in the region.Liaocheng,as an important commercial city along the Beijing-Hangzhou Canal in Ming and Qing dynasties,has distinct cultural characteristics,diverse historical relics and high density of cultural relics.How to speed up the development of cultural tourism,cultivate and strengthen the industrial cluster of cultural tourism,and build up the tourism brand of canal with Liaocheng characteristics is an urgent problem to be solved at present,which is to promote the overall image of the city.It is of great significance to promote the rapid development of regional tourism economy.On the basis of combing the theories of tourism competitiveness at home and abroad,and taking Liaocheng section of the Beijing-Hangzhou Canal as the research object,the present situation and conditions of its development are summarized.Based on the principles of systematization and science,32 tow-level indexes of social and economic development,urban infrastructure,tourism development level and urban environment are selected to construct the evaluation index system of urban tourism competitiveness.Selected 13 high-profile cities along the Beijing-Hangzhou Canal and Liaocheng City for comparison,using factor analysis and cluster analysis to evaluate the competitiveness of urban tourism,found that no matter in the urban economic competitiveness,Infrastructure,competitiveness is still in the level of tourism development competitiveness urban environmental competitiveness,Liaocheng is in the back position,making the competitiveness of urban comprehensive tourism in the last of the 14 cities.It is mainly related to the laggard level of economic development,weak tourism infrastructure,unreasonable tourism spatial structure and fragile ecological environment in Liaochengcity.According to the results of the analysis and combined with the reality of Liaocheng City,from the construction of tourism industry belt,optimization of space layout,consolidation of tourism infrastructure,promotion of tourism service ability,integration of tourism marketing,strengthening tourism brand image,carry out the sustainable development of resources and environment and build a beautiful and livable city.Some countermeasures are put forward to enhance the tourism competitiveness of Liaocheng section of the Beijing-Hangzhou Canal.
