In practice,the enterprise managers find that the employees with high performance are not fully reflected in their skills or IQ,but rather in their perception and implantation of their own and other people's emotions.As an important part of the team member's capability elements,team emotional intelligence can effectively improve the team members' ability to perceive and use emotions.Therefore,how team emotional intelligence can affect team conflict process and team performance is worth exploring.At the same time,along with the development of web 2.0 and information technology,the Internet plus has become the trend of the new era.Under the continuous impact of network technology,in order to achieve the optimal combination of resources and respond to the dynamic market competition environment,companies are increasingly not struggling with traditional enterprise operation modes and organizational structures,but gradually implement cross-border integration.In the process,team virtualization has become a new strategy for companies to solve resource and capability dilemmas.It is undeniable that in the case of different levels of team virtuality,enterprise team conflict management and performance management will face different challenges.Moreover,the effect of team emotional intelligence on team conflicts will also vary with team virtuality.This study is based on the research about the relationship between individual emotional intelligence and team performance by scholars in the field of organizational behavior.From the overall perspective,we explore the significance of team emotional intelligence in reducing team conflicts and increasing team performance.Then build a conceptual model of the team's emotional intelligence impact on the team's performance.Then we explore the significance of team emotional intelligence in reducing team conflict and increasing team performance.This study selected team emotional intelligence(high/low)and team virtual degree(face-toface/voice conference/instant messaging)as independent variables,team scores and team member satisfaction performance as the dependent variables.In this study,an experimental study was conducted with 144 undergraduates from Xidian university in China.They were divided into 48 three-person teams for team tasks.Through the analysis of experimental data,the following conclusions are drawn:1.The higher the team emotional intelligence,the lower the team's task conflict and emotional conflict;the team with higher team emotional intelligence will have higher team member satisfaction and team score.2.Team emotional intelligence has a significant impact on team performance by affecting team conflicts.3.Team virtuality plays a positive moderating role in the relationship between team emotional intelligence and the team emotional conflict and task conflict.The higher the team virtuality,the stronger the relationship of team emotional intelligence on team emotional conflict and task conflict.This research made an in-depth systematic research which is based on the existing theoretical and research results.The research has a positive significance to improve the theory of team emotional intelligence and the team virtuality moderating mechanism.From this research,the enterprise managers will recognize the importance of the team emotional intelligence in the process of team building,and give managers new choices when selecting virtual members for their virtual tasks.More importantly,this research encourages the managers to use and manage the team virtuality effectively.
