Study On Horizontal Integration Strategy Of A Logistics Company

As one of the main service providers,logistics companies are committed to providing logistics services to production enterprises.In order to concentrate all resources and energy on the improvement of core competitiveness,production companies have put forward more and higher requirements for logistics enterprises.Large-scale logistics companies at home and abroad are aware of this trend,and are committed to improving their comprehensive logistics service capabilities.The horizontal integration strategy of logistics enterprises has become a development trend.Despite the emergence of mergers and acquisitions in recent years,there are few successful cases,and the awareness of long-term development and sustainable development is relatively weak.This paper takes company A as the research object.PEST analysis,five-force model,SWOT analysis,typical case study,questionnaire and interview and other related methods are used to carry out horizontal integration strategy research on company A,on the one hand,it helps to solve the restriction of company A,on the other hand,it provides references for the horizontal integration development of other similar logistics enterprises,and provides references for the country to introduce policies related to horizontal integration.The main contents of this thesis are as follows:Firstly,the internal environment of company A is analyzed from the perspectives of innovation ability,financial status and business scope;the external environment of company A is analyzed by PEST method,and the political,economic,social and technological environment is summarized.The five-force model is used to analyze the competitiveness of the industry from the perspective of supplier bargaining power,buyer bargaining power,threat of entrants,threat of substitutes,competition among the same industry.SWOT method is used to analyze the advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and challenges.Secondly,based on the company's development vision,the horizontal integration strategy implementation measures of company A are proposed,a horizontal integration strategy implementation evaluation system is constructed,and the analytic hierarchy process is used to conduct case studies.Finally,from the three aspects of human resources,working capital and organization,the paper puts forward the safeguard measures for the implementation of the horizontal integration strategy.
