Over the past 30 years of reform and opening-up,a large number of influential family enterprises have been born in China,which play an important role in the development of the entire national economy.Over time,however,as China's first generation of entrepreneurs face retirement,it has become a priority to pass on the businesses they run.At present,the proportion of professional managers has risen,almost as much as family members,and it has become the new power of succession.Therefore,if a manager can lead the family business forward is not only crucial to the enterprise,but also to the prosperity and development of China's private economy.Domestic scholars have relatively little research on the subdivision mode after the transfer to managers,and rarely combine performance evaluation with selection of inheritance mode.Even if we discuss the intergenerational transmission and performance,it is only an empirical study,withoLit in-depth case study to study the effects and causes of intergenerational transmission.In view of this,this paper analyzes the inheritance effect of acer group's manager succession model from the perspective of performance evaluation and the underlying reasons for the effect.In this paper,four kinds of family business inheritance mode selection and their advantages and disadvantages are put forward from the theoretical level at first.Then on this basis,select the representative case company under this segmentation model,namely acer group.By market performance and financial performance analysis of the effect after its managers' inheritance,found that the enterprise market performance,profitability and operation ability were better,and debt paying ability,then explores the deep reason of this kind of inheritance effects mainly lies in the recognition of managers,investors,managers of industry experience,managers of enterprises are not familiar with,and high agency costs.At last,the paper summarizes the shortcomings and advantages of the inheritanee proeess,draws a conclusion,and puts forward the corresponding Suggestions and experience for reference.After analysis,the following conclusions are drawn:one of the key factors contributing to the success of external succession is that the founder should give sufficient trust to the manager in the process of succession;another key factor is the strength of professional managers and their rich experience in relevant fields.In addition,airborne managers also have two shortcomings.The first is that managers are not familiar enough with the enterprise to make decisions from the perspective of long-term interests.The second deficiency is that the agency cost of airborne managers is often higher.The analysis conclusion in this paper has certain reference value for the choice of external inheritance mode of family business.At the same time,the Suggestions on the inheritance and selection of airborne managers and the control of agency costs put forward in this paper can also provide some reference for other enterprises.
