Financial Performance Evaluation Of A Company Based On Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process

As the implementation of the Belt and Road initiative,China has established a new type of oil and gas cooperation model with countries along the route,and the resource cooperation has been relatively mature and stable.However,considering the current domestic economic environment,the petrochemical industry remains facing great downward pressure.In addition,following the further development of supply-side structural reform,the contradiction between supply and demand and structural problems in petrochemical industry has become increasingly obvious.Although petrochemical enterprises follow the change of policy to actively transform the focus from the operating profit of the company to the overall development of the enterprise,some petrochemical enterprises still have obvious deficiencies in the process of reform.Therefore,this dissertation selected A company— a private enterprise supported by H province,which is in essential position in Sino-Russian Strategic partnership,and assess A company from the perspective of financial performance.This study accurately evaluates the financial performance of A company by combing with the situation and policy of petrochemical industry,finds out the gap between A company and other companies in this industry and explores the reasons for the formation of the gap.I also put forward suggestions according to market demand and policy changes,to help A company improve its financial performance level.Based on the idea of putting forward —— analyzing problems —— solving problems,this dissertation first explains the research background and the purpose and significance of the research,and summarizes and evaluates existing literature related to the factors affecting financial performance at home and abroad,the evaluation methods of financial performance,as well as the evaluation index system,explaining the concept of financial performance evaluation and the concept of the evaluation method adopted in this study and discussing the relevant theories involved in the following research to lay the foundation for the evaluation of A company's financial performance.Secondly,this dissertation introduces the basic situation of A company.Through the field investigation of A company,this study selected 15 representative indexes with characteristics of petrochemical industry,and conducted trend analysis of the financial status of A company in 2014-2018,and then selected the average value of chemical industry and the related financial indicators of three comparable companies in 2014-2018 tocompare with A company,which reflects the financial status of A company more intuitively.Based on the summary of the current financial situation of A company,it is found that the current financial performance evaluation system of A company is not perfect.Therefore,a more comprehensive financial performance evaluation model is constructed and implemented in A company.According to the questionnaire collected from A company,the author calculated the weight of each financial index by AHP.This study further utilize fuzzy analytic hierarchy process to calculate A company's comprehensive score of annual financial performance by referring to the score given by the company's internal personnel.Through the comparison between A companies and comparable companies,it can be concluded that A company's financial situation in 2014-2017 is better and the development is more stable,but A company's financial performance in 2018 has declined.Finally,this study found that the problems existing in the aspects of R & D investment,internal management mechanisms,raw materials,financing methods and response to government policy problems in A company have caused the decline of financial performance.Therefore,in order to achieve the company's sustainable development and strategic objectives,A company need to make improvements in the following aspects,including increasing their investment in R & D and the number of senior managers,reducing the cost of procurement,adopting a variety of financing methods,following the guidance of government policy,etc.,in order to achieve the company's sustainable development and strategic objectives.
