Research On Paths And Evolution Mechanism Of Disruptive Innovation Of Latecomer Firms Under The Impact Of Market Environment

Nowadays,the circulation of commodities is becoming more convenient,the technology is developing more faster,and the market and technological advantages of incumbent firms are more obvious.With mature technology track and business model,incumbent firms occupy the high-end links of the industrial value chain,while latecomer firms are in a position of technological backwardness and market disadvantage,which makes it difficult to compete head-on with incumbent firms.As a widely used innovation method in management practice,disruptive innovation is an important theoretical tool to guide the latecomer firms to leapfrog the incumbent firms.The essence of disruptive innovation is the process of breakthrough from non-mainstream market to mainstream market.Therefore,the correct understanding of the impact of market environment on disruptive innovation,building implementation paths specifically,and on this basis to promote the evolution of disruptive innovation,are conducive to the later firms to achieve market breakthrough and leapfrog catch-up.Thesis on the basis of reviewing related theory background,the case data of 5firms were coded step by step by means of multi-case grounded method,summarized the influence elements and their effect of the market environment to disruptive innovation,and then discusses the implement path and evolution mechanism of disruptive innovation of the latecomer firms under the influence of market environment.The main contents of the research include:(1)Case study on disruptive innovation of latecomer firms under the influence of market environment.Later,Based on the research logic of the evolution process of disruptive innovation,the author conducts coding analysis on the case data of the selected 5 enterprises according to the open code-axial code-selective coding method.(2)Research on the influence mechanism of market environment on disruptive innovation.On the basis of relevant research,according to the story line of disruptive innovation of latecomer firms,the influence mechanism of market environment on disruptive innovation is summarized,including the influence factors and their different effects on each stage of disruptive innovation.(3)Research on the implement path and evolution mechanism of disruptive innovation in latecomer firms.On the basis of the influence of market environment,this paper constructs the path of disruptive technology innovation and business model innovation for latecomer firms to realize disruptive innovation,and analyzes the evolution stage,contents and results of disruptive innovation based on their collaborative innovation.The research conclusion shows that disruptive innovation takes place in the specific market situation,and the demand,technology and industrial conditions of market environment plays a core,basic and restrictive role in each stage of disruptive innovation.The implement paths of disruptive innovation mainly include disruptive technological innovation and business model innovation,disruptive technology innovation includes technology identification,technology acquisition and technology iterative,business model innovation performance for including value proposition,reconstructing value creation,value delivery improvement and value for optimizing the four stages of value network building and iterative process.On the basis of the collaborative innovation of disruptive technology and business model,the disruptive innovation of latecomer firms goes through four evolution stages: identification stage,entry stage,iteration stage and disruption stage,so as to realize the breakthrough from non-mainstream market to mainstream market.
