The income of farmers in Zhejiang Province ranks first in the provinces and autonomous regions for 34 consecutive years, surpassing Beijing, second only to Shanghai. However,in recent years, under the influence of various influencing factors, the growth rate of farmers' income in Zhejiang Province has declined, and the growth has gradually become fatigued. The growth has already had problems, mainly in the areas of excessive base, slow growth, and structural adjustment. Moreover, with the improvement of social and economic level, traditional urbanization can no longer meet the needs, and the emergence of new urbanization has provided new ideas for China's development. At the same time, the current research on farmers' income is based on the national level. No one has studied the impact of urbanization in Zhejiang Province on farmers' income, and the impact of different urbanization levels on farmers' incomes is also different. Therefore, how to improve the income of farmers in the development of new urbanization has important theoretical and practical significance for Zhejiang Province. This paper starts from the status of farmers' income, comprehensively analyzes the income level of farmers in Zhejiang Province, the income structure of farmers, the total income of farmers in the provinces, the comparison of growth rate and structure, and the difficulties faced by farmers in increasing income. The development of farmers' income in Zhejiang Province. Then using the entropy method to construct new urbanization indicators from the five perspectives of economic development, population, social security, infrastructure, and ecological environment, and thus the quality of new urbanization in Zhejiang Province. The panel data of provincial and prefecture-level cities in Zhejiang Province from 2008 to 2017 were selected to quantitatively analyze the impact of new urbanization on farmers' income. Finally, based on the results obtained, the policy recommendations for increasing farmers' income in Zhejiang Province are proposed, and it is hoped to provide experience and reference for farmers in other provinces to increase their income.Through research, the following conclusions are obtained:(1)The income structure of farmers in Zhejiang Province has changed, from the dual structure of the previous family business income and wage income to the wage income, and the family business income and property.Diversified structure supplemented by income and transfer income. In the family business income, the tertiary industry accounted for more than the primary industry, showing an upward trend.Compared with other provinces,Zhejiang Province has narrowed its advantage over farmers in other provinces.(2)The level of new urbanization in Zhejiang Province is generally on the rise in time, and it is characterized by an overall imbalance between north and south and low level of development in the east and west. Moreover, the growth trajectories of urbanization development in each region are similar, and the gap between the two has not decreased significantly with the growth of the year.(3)Urbanization has a positive impact on farmers' income. The higher the level of urbanization, the higher the per capita income of farmers, the more obvious the relationship between urbanization and farmers' income, the greater the intensity of action;the lower the level of urbanization. The lower the per capita income of farmers, the less obvious the relationship between urbanization and farmers' income, and the smaller the intensity of their work. Moreover, urbanization has increased the income of farmers, and has the greatest impact on the wage income of farmers. At the same time, the five factors of urbanization have a positive effect on the income of farmers. The most relevant among the five indicators is the economic development.
