In 2020,COVID-19 epidemic spread around the world, and many grain exporting countries have restricted grain exports.Only in the face of the disaster can we ―stay in peace‖ if we have ―grain in hand‖.In recent years,China’s grain planting area has been declining, and the grain self-sufficiency rate has been decreasing. It is accompanied by the rapid expansion of land transfer. In this process,―Non-grainification‖ and even ―Non-agriculturalization‖ problems appear in some regions, which may threaten the national food security. It is of great practical significance to explore the regional differences in land transfer,i dentify the main influencing factors of land transfer in different terrain areas, and analyze the impact and mechanism of land transfer on the planting structure,to ensure national food security and promote agricultural modernization. In this paper,Henan province, the main grain-producing region,is selected as the case area.Under the guidance of guidance of agricultural location theory, farmer’s behavior theory and farmer’s land theory, the regional differences of land transfer and its impact on peasant household planting structure are studied by using the data of ―rural fixed-point survey of Henan province‖ from 2013 to 2017.First,using the measurement method of land transfer rate and regional differences to reveal the basic characteristics and regional differences of land transfer in Henan Province, and using Logistic regression model to analyze the influencing factors of land transfer regional differences;secondly, using multiple regression models to quantitatively evaluate the cultivated land respectively The impact of the transfer and the scale of the transfer of cultivated land on the proportion of grain planting in different topographical areas; Finally, from the perspective of agricultural planting structure adjustment, the mechanism of the impact of farmland transfer on the planting structure of farmers is explored. The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)The land transfer in Henan Province has the following characteristics: the total agricultural land transfer rate is relatively stable, with an overall upward trend, and the outflow incidence rate is greater than the inflow incidence rate; From the perspective of spatial characteristics, the occurrence rate of farmland circulation in the southwest of Henan province is at a high level, while that in the eastern Henan and the central Henan plain is lower. The farmland transfer in most areas of Henan province is accelerating, only Zhengzhou,Xuchang,Anyang and sanmenxia have declined,of which Zhengzhou and Xuchang have the most obvious decrease in the incidence of the transfer. From the perspective of different topographic areas, the incidence of farmland circulation in mountainous and hilly areas is higher than that in plain areas.(2)The influencing factors of land transfer mainly include the characteristics of household head, family income,off-farm working land, cultivated land quality, the number of village enterprises and the distance to urban area.Family characteristics are important factors affecting land transfer in plain areas, and village characteristics have a greater impact on hilly areas.(3)From the perspective of the whole province, the transfer of land has intensified the ―Non-grainification‖ of farmland.Among them, the ―non-grainization‖ of plain areas is more prominent, while the proportion of grain planting will be reduced only when the small scale is transferred into mountainous and hilly areas. The transfer of small-scale farmland significantly reduced the proportion of grain crops planted in plain and hilly areas, while the transfer of large-scale farmland only had a negative impact on the proportion of grain crops planted in plain areas. The economic income and village characteristics of the family had a significant effect on the proportion of grain planting, while the farmland quality and the characteristics of the head of household had no effect.(4)The land transfer has brought about the reconfiguration of land resources, and through the reunderstanding of the recombination of "man" and "land" in the region, the comprehensive influence mechanism of it on farmers’ planting decision has been deeply analyzed. As a result of rent pressure, small scale households pursue unit farmland output and tend to choose cash crops with higher comparative benefits. The haing-man effect is the ―strong agent‖ of farmers’ abrupt planting decisions, which breaks the planting inertia of ― taking grain as the class ‖.The effect of scale economy promotes the trend of ―grain dumping‖ in large scale households. The national macro-policy orientation has a certain role in the regulation of farmers’ crop selection.
