Because of its unique national cultural landscape,ethnic communities have attracted a large number of tourists,and tourism has been developing continuously.On the other hand,a large number of tourists will inevitably bring many adverse effects to the local residents.Due to the development of tourism,the ethnic tourism community often has the problem of over-commercialization.The original national culture of the local area is eroded by the foreign consumerism culture,and the cultural authenticity is disappearing constantly.At the same time,problems of spatial homogenization,internal space congestion and unequal spatial rights have arisen.Exploring the space production of ethnic tourism community has great theoretical and practical significance for understanding the complex social relations within the community and resolving the problems of spatial development brought about by tourism development.Taking Huifang in Xi'an as an example,this paper makes an empirical study on the space production of ethnic tourism communities by using the three-dimensional analysis framework of space production theory,using content analysis,grounded theory,critical discourse analysis and empirical quantitative analysis.The main research contents include:(1)Studying tourists'perception of Xi'an Huifang space and exploring the factors affecting tourists' perception of space.By analyzing the travel notes and comments about Huifang in Xi'an published by tourists on the internet,this paper constructs a framework map of tourists'spatial perception of Huifang,and validates the framework.(2)To study the government's spatial planning of Xi'an Huifang and the image of Huifang propagated by the media,and to explore the power expression behind government texts and media content through critical discourse analysis.(3)To study the use space of the main bodies of Xi'an Huifang,and to explore the impact of the activities of the main users of space on the spatial production of ethnic tourism communities.Through the research,the following main conclusions are drawn:(1)Tourists'spatial perception of Huifang can be divided into four dimensions:local perception,tourism perception,time change perception and tourism satisfaction.Visitors scored 71.61 on local perception,60.44 on tourism perception,70.12 on time change perception and 64.17 on satisfaction with Huifang tourism.Tourists'satisfaction with returning to Fangfang is low,and their spatial perception score is poor.(2)The main negative factors affecting tourists'satisfaction and spatial perception are poor hygiene of food,unreasonable price of tourism commodities,low quality of tourism services,dirty environment and crowded tourism environment.(3)The government's planning of Huifang space has transformed Huifang into a commercial district with tourism characteristics through the overall demolition and transformation to protect its historical features.(4)The official media constructed Huifang as a symbol of the long history of national blocks,food centers and local culture in Xi'an.Tourists attached a "net red"cultural label to Huifang through new media such as tremolo,which resulted in the symbolization of Huifang image and eventually led to homogenization.(5)The food production process in Huifang tourism business space has certain performance components,and together with theatre space,it forms a scene space with the characteristics of "live performance".(6)The use of Huifang residential space is restricted by the government's planning of Huifang.In order to protect the integrity of Huifang's architectural style,the renewal of Huifang's buildings is restricted by policies,resulting in the improvement of the residential environment of local residents.Based on the above conclusions,this paper puts forward the following suggestions for the development of Huifang from the perspective of practice and management:(1)improving the environment and tourism service quality of Huifang to improve tourists'tourism satisfaction;(2)strengthening the management of Huifang space,improving Huifang infrastructure and tourism facilities;(3)strengthening the excavation,activation and protection of Huifang regional national culture and local culture.The authenticity of Huhuifang culture;(4)Pay attention to space justice and ensure the space rights of space users.
