Research On Russian-chinese Timber Trade In The Background Of "The Belt And Road"

In 2013 year,the Chinese government has put forward the development initiative of "The Belt and Road",which has provided new opportunities for the comprehensive development of regional economy in the Asia-pacific region and injected new vitality and vigor into the economies of countries along the routes."The Belt and Road" in China and Russia under implementation to promote "Eurasian Economic Union",the two countries in economy,trade,cultural,military,investment cooperation continued to deepen.In 2018,Russia-China trade exceeded us $100 billion,and timber trade has become a key point in the development of Russia-china trade.The Belt and Road initiative has improved the level of infrastructure construction between Russia and China and expanded the scale of timber trade between the two countries.This thesis studies the development of Russia-China timber trade under the background of "The Belt and Road".Firstly,it introduces the background,content and impact of "The Belt and Road" on Sino-Russian trade relations,defines relevant concepts and theories of international trade,and preliminarily analyzes the impact of "The Belt and Road" initiative on Russia-China timber trade.Secondly,it expounds the scale,market share,structure and pattern of Russia-China timber trade,as well as the existing problems in scale,structure,pattern and policy,and analyzes the causes of the problems in detail.Thirdly,it analyzes the influencing factors of Russia-china trade from an empirical perspective,including the wood trade complementarity between Russia and China,the dominant comparative advantage index and the trade complementarity index,and the wood trade between Russia and China based on the gravity model.Fourthly,according to the influencing factors of timber trade between Russia and China,feasible Suggestions are put forward for Russia,China and both sides respectively.Finally,this paper summarizes the research of this thesis and looks forward to the future research development in the direction of this paper.
