Analysis On The Sustainable Development Of Trade In Eastern China

Since the reform and opening up 40 years ago,China's economy has grown rapidly,from poverty and backwardness to the second largest economy in the world.The per capita GDP has increased by more than 160 times from 381 yuan in 1978 to 64600 yuan in 2018,creating a world recognized "China Miracle".However,a series of problems brought about by rapid economic development have emerged.China begins to pay attention to the quality of economic development.From the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC)which brought "ecology" into the "five in one"overall layout to "waste classification" pilot in the country,China's ecological environment protection work has been on the way.From the perspective of export,which is one of the "three carriages" to promote economic growth,this paper collects the data of 17 industries in the period of 2008-2017 in 10 representative provincial units in the eastern region of China,abandons the traditional analysis method based on currency,and adopts the energy analysis method to reflect the environmental problems and sustainable development in the process of import and export.Several emergy indexes and conventional monetary indexes are calculated to describe the trade gains and losses during the survey period.The results show that there are differences in the development of China's trade,no matter in the provinces or in the industries.Although the trade volume in some regions is surplus,it has lost money from the perspective of energy value.While the trade volume in some regions is deficit,it has gained profit from the perspective of energy value.In order to explore the policy direction of sustainable development of trade in eastern China,this paper,from the perspective of improving the efficiency of energy value utilization,makes an empirical analysis on the relationship between total energy consumption per unit output,labor productivity and fixed asset investment,and adopts the method of gradually adding control variables,successively adding three control variables,to carry out regression analysis,and in the regression analysis.After that,the robustness test was carried out.The empirical results show that there is a positive correlation between fixed asset investment and ecological resource utilization efficiency,and a negative correlation between labor productivity and ecological resource utilization efficiency.Therefore,it is suggested to improve energy utilization efficiency from these two aspects,so as to promote the sustainable development of trade in eastern China.Based on the above analysis,we believe that emergy is a common yardstick to measure the natural and human systems.The trade gains and losses observed from the perspective of currency will cover up the truth of ecological damage,which is not conducive to the sustainable development of trade.Each province should take targeted strategies based on its own situation,from different business analysis,such as:replacing monetary indicators with emergy indicators;increasing Through the above measures,we can improve the efficiency of resource utilization,promote the fair exchange of energy and value,and promote the sustainable development of China's trade.
