Since the reform and opening up,China's economy has developed rapidly and formed a series of urbanization development models that have attracted much attention.But the income problem of urban and rural residents is becoming more and more serious.How to effectively narrow the income gap of residents while promoting healthy economic development will become an important measure and key strategy for comprehensively and deeply advancing the modern well-off society.Since the beginning of the new century,especially after the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC),China has proposed to explore a socialist modernization path of urbanization with Chinese characteristics,and issued a series of new policies for balanced urban and rural development,in an effort to form a pattern of urbanization featuring sound and balanced urban and rural development.Therefore,the research on the role of the residents' income and its path of urbanization,not only can impact on the urban and rural development policy and the effect of urbanization to provide the reality basis,can also to promote the related areas continue to promote the urbanization construction,improve the level of residents' income protection,the role of narrowing the income gap between urban and rural areas to provide theoretical and practical reference.The first chapter analyzes the research status,research methods and significance of urbanization and resident income in China.In chapter 2,the core concepts of urbanization and resident income and related theories are sorted out,including urbanization theory,dual economy theory,Harristodaro model and regional economic theory,etc.,and the significance of promoting resident income through urbanization is expounded.The third chapter is about the mechanism construction of urbanization's effect on residents' income.It analyzes and constructs the effect diagram from the perspective of urban and rural areas respectively,and draws the overall mechanism diagram.The fourth chapter is the analysis of SAM model construction and the impact path of urbanization on residents' income.It takes A city as an example for empirical analysis.On the basis of understanding the development situation of A city in X province,it is based on the social accounting matrix of A city in 2007,2012 and 2017.Empirical analysis method is used to analyze the role and path of urbanization on residents' income in A city.In the fifth chapter,the corresponding countermeasures and Suggestions are put forward.The corresponding conclusions are as follows :(1)urbanization not only reduces the income gap between urban residents and rural residents,but also significantly reduces the income gap between urban and rural areas.(2)The lower the level of residents' income,the higher the overall proportion of their dependence on urban labor remuneration,which means that the income of low-income residents comes more from urbanization.(3)Labor factors and capital factors are of different importance to the income of different classes of residents.Low-income groups are more likely to benefit from labor factors,while high-income groups are more likely to benefit from capital factors.
