A Study On The Current Situation And Influencing Factors Of The Old-age Security Of The Low-income Old People In The Countryside Of Hunan Province

The problem of providing for the aged is a common problem faced by human beings.The coming of aging brings great pressure on the Chinese society,especially for the low-income elderly.With the rapid economic growth in China,the gap between the rich and the poor is becoming more and more serious.For a long time,the government has attached great importance to how to narrow the income gap and optimize the income structure.In the critical period when the urban and rural population is going to be lifted out of poverty in an all-round way,the improvement of China's economic development and income gap will be greatly affected by the low-income groups,and the pension security has become the top priority,which is related to the livelihood of the people.Solving the pension security for the low-income elderly is of great significance in this critical period,which is directly related to the realization of common prosperity in China And the success or failure of building a well-off society in an all-round way,which is also an important way to improve the quality of economic development and maintain social stability.After combing and evaluating the current research status with the method of literature analysis,this paper selects Hunan Province,which has a relatively serious aging population,to conduct an investigation and research.It analyzes the current situation of the pension security of low-income old people in rural areas of Hunan Province from the demographic characteristics,pension mode,service supply and other aspects,and points out the pension security of low-income old people in Hunan Province There are some problems,such as the weakening of the function of family pension security,the inadequate implementation of functional departments' policies,the greater difficulties in the implementation of social services,and the imbalance between the supply and demand of pension services.In order to further analyze the influencing factors of low-income old people's pension security in rural areas of Hunan Province,this paper designed a questionnaire to investigate the basic information of the elderly,the elderly's pension willingness,the elderly's health status,the elderly's family support and social support,the elderly's understanding of pension policy,etc.,using the least square regression analysis(OLS)The health status and family support of the elderly were selected as the dependent variable set to analyze the main influencing factors of rural low-income elderly pension security.The results show that the factors such as age,gender,marriage status,ADL barriers,family population,daily life of female care,family company and so on have significant influence on the old-age security.Based on this,this paper puts forward some suggestions to solve the problem of pension security of low-income old people in rural areas of Hunan Province from the aspects of publicizing and advocating the fine tradition of children living with the old,carrying forward filial piety culture,strengthening the legal restraint system,distinguishing the "low-income" old people in rural areas,reasonably defining the "old people".It is hoped that the research of this paper can provide useful policy suggestions for the relevant departments of Hunan provincial government to solve the problem of rural low-income old people's pension,improve the current pension security system and expand the research field of pension security.
