Research On The Of Chinese Commercial Banks' Social Responsibility

In recent years,with the continuous reform of the banking industry and the intensification of competition in the financial market,how commercial banks can better fulfill their social responsibilities has become an important aspect of social concern.The fulfillment of social responsibility is an important embodiment of the operating values and corporate culture of a commercial bank,which not only helps to enhance its own image,but also helps to build excellent brand competitiveness and business reputation.The outbreak of the global financial crisis has further shown that commercial banks cannot blindly pursue the maximization of benefits,but should also take social responsibility into consideration.The fulfillment of social responsibilities by a commercial bank is of great significance to its sustainable development and to achieve a win-win situation for shareholders' interests and social welfare.At present,the research on the social responsibility of China's commercial banks is still at the exploratory stage.Therefore,based on the successful experience of foreign banks,we should continue to explore the actual situation in China,and strive to find a way that is compatible with China's financial reform and compatible with the international financial competition pattern.Echoing,the commercial bank's social responsibility practice line that is coordinated with the bank's development strategy,and continuously revised and improved.Based on the case of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China in Jinan,this paper systematically analyzes and studies the issue of social responsibility fulfillment of commercial banks,and completes the following main research work:First of all,on the basis of relevant theories,this paper completed the survey on the current situation of China's commercial banks' performance of social responsibility,analyzed the current situation of China's commercial banks' performance of social responsibility in general,and then took Jinan Branch of industrial and Commercial Bank of China as an example to analyze and study its performance of social responsibility,and carried out empirical research and statistical results through the questionnaire.On the basis of investigation and data statistics,this paper studies the problems and causes in the implementation of social responsibility of Jinan Branch of industrial and Commercial Bank of China,puts forward the existing problems from five aspects,and analyzes the causes of the formation,so as to provide basis for the subsequent countermeasures and suggestions.Finally,the paper puts forward countermeasures and suggestions for commercial banks to fulfill their social responsibilities,and puts forward several targeted countermeasures on how to further promote the practice and development of commercial banks to fulfill their social responsibilities,especially for the main problems and reasons.
