Research On The Social Responsibility Of Commercial Banks In China

Under the background of modern financial environment,the sustainable development of commercial banks can not be separated from the fulfillment of social responsibility of commercial banks,and the fulfillment of social responsibility of commercial banks is the general requirement of commercial banks.In the ranking of competitiveness of modern commercial banks,it includes the “ hard power” of commercial banks' own development,including the management and management performance of commercial banks,the size of capital,the financial service quality of banks and human capital,and so on.Commercial banks in the modern financial environment need to have the “soft power”,which includes the concept of commercial banks,the concept of low-carbon banks and commercial banks to fulfill the social responsibility and so on.In the past commercial banks in the development process,the commercial bank managers are more concerned about the commercial banks' own “hard power” to enhance,and for commercial banks “soft power” in the corresponding capital and manpower less.Therefore,in the context of modern financial environment,to strengthen the commercial bank social responsibility to fulfill the “soft power” to enhance,is very necessary.In this paper,the Shanghai Pudong Development Bank(hereinafter referred to as:Shanghai Pudong Development Bank),for example,the status of social responsibility of commercial banks in China were analyzed to explore the commercial banks in the implementation of social responsibility deficiencies.This paper analyzes the social responsibility of China's commercial banks from the macro and micro levels in the analysis of the fulfillment of social responsibility of commercial banks in China,and then analyzes the social responsibility of commercial banks in China.On this basis,this paper takes the Shanghai Pudong Development Bank as an example to analyze the development status of Shanghai Pudong Development Bank in terms of social responsibility,and analyzes the economic responsibility,charitable responsibility and environmental responsibility of Shanghai Pudong Development Bank.By analyzing the problems in the fulfillment of the social responsibility of Shanghai Pudong Development Bank,we can get the problems such as the lack of strategic positioning of social bank responsibility and the lack of relevant evaluation standard in the social responsibility of commercial banks.In order to better solve the problems existing in thefulfillment of social responsibility of Shanghai Pudong Development Bank,the experience of social responsibility fulfillment of foreign banks(Citibank,HSBC and Bank of East Asia)is summarized,and the large commercial banks in China are responsible for social responsibility Implementation of the experience of the corresponding analysis.Based on the above content,this paper puts forward some suggestions to promote the fulfillment of the social responsibility of commercial banks:First,the commercial banks to clear their social responsibility to fulfill the strategic positioning;Second,strengthen the commercial bank social responsibility to fulfill the internal and external supervision system;On the Construction of Evaluation System of Bank Social Responsibility.In this way,not only can the commercial banks better fulfill their social responsibility,but also help to promote the better development of China's commercial banks,so that China's commercial banks in the international financial market competition in a dominant position.
