| In the context of manufacturing transformation and upgrading,knowledge and innovation have become increasingly important.Suppliers of manufacturing enterprises can gain knowledge spillovers and promote their own innovation ability in the process of cooperation with external parties.Knowledge spillovers are usually divided into explicit and implicit dimensions,which do not include customer quality requirements;There is no unified and clear view on the specific relationship between knowledge spillovers and innovation performance of supplier;few scholars consider the moderating role of relationship strength in knowledge spillovers and innovation performance.Based on knowledge spillovers,relationship theory,and innovation performance,this article studies the innovation performance of suppliers in manufacturing companies.By extensively reviewing relevant literature,this article constructed a conceptual model of the impact of knowledge spillovers on suppliers’ innovation performance with relationship intensity as a moderator.In this paper,knowledge spillover is divided into three dimensions:explicit knowledge spillover,tacit knowledge spillover and customer quality requires,supplier innovation performance is divided into two dimensions:product innovation performance and process innovation performance,the relationship strength is divided into four dimensions:contact time,investment resources,scope of cooperation&communication and reciprocity.Empirical analysis is used to study the mechanism of action between this three.First,a questionnaire is designed and a pre-investigation is conducted in a small area.After reliability and validity check and field interviews,the final questionnaire is modified and established.The survey object is the manufacturing industry mainly in the automotive industry,and finally 214 valid sample data is obtained.SPSS24.0 and AMOS22.0 software are used for confirmatory factor analysis,multiple regression analysis,etc.to verify hypotheses.Results show that knowledge spillover has a positive impact on supplier innovation performance.Among them,explicit knowledge spillover has a positive impact on supplier process innovation performance,and implicit knowledge spillover and customer quality requirements have a positive correlation effect on supplier product innovation performance and process innovation performance.Relationship strength has a moderating effect on knowledge spillovers and supplier innovation performance to a certain extent. |
