At present,competition among enterprises is becoming increasingly fierce.The level of human resource management means vital importance to enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises.The front line employees are not only the main body involved in the production activities of an enterprise,but also in the creation of the enterprise value.The quality of their work determines the overall strength of the enterprise.The establishment and improvement of the performance appraisal system of front-line employees can further enhance the initiative of employees and the stability of the team,which is of great significance to the realization of the overall strategic goal.This paper mainly focuses on company J and analyzes the work of its front-line operators.Firstly,the author discusses the research background and the significance of this topic at the macro level.The paper introduces the research status of Chinese and western scholars in performance appraisal,meanwhile it expounds specific research content of this topic,and the research methods involved.Secondly,the specific definition and practical functions of performance appraisal are introduced in detail,and specific process and specific assessment methods are discussed in detail.Then further carry out a detailed analysis on the performance appraisal system of front-line employees of company J.Thirdly,based on the general situation of J company,the paper studied the present performance appraisal system of the enterprise and some problems are identified by questionnaire researching.Then put forward the optimization plan of performance appraisal for the front-line employees of company J by fully combined with the classic KPI method and analytic hierarchy process(AHP).Furtherly,to give a comprehensive interpretation through the example of the specific process of the development of performance indicators.Lastly,the author raises the guarantee measures for the optimization of company J's performance appraisal system,so as to promote the continuous increase of the company's performance appraisal management efficiency.On the basis of systematic analysis of the current performance appraisal system of front-line employees of J company,the performance appraisal problems are determined,and the optimization plan is effectively formulated based on the overall development characteristics of the enterprise,which points out the direction for the long-term healthy development of the enterprise.
