Analysis On The Regional Economic Differences And Influencing Factors

Since the reform and opening up,China's economy has made great achievements in development.Mr.Deng Xiaoping proposed "let some people get rich first,and then drive others to get rich".Behind the bland language,what is hidden is the unbalanced development mode of regional economy.According to the advantages of location and resource endowment,the economic development level of the eastern coastal areas is far ahead of that of the western areas.In recent years,the problem of regional economic differences has been paid more and more attention.The state has put forward the strategy of the rise of the central region and the strategy of the development of the western region.It is committed to reducing the regional economic differences and realizing the coordinated development of the regional economy.Regional economic differences are also more significant in different provinces.On the positive side,stimulating economic growth will also aggravate regional economic conflicts and promote local protectionism.This paper takes 16 prefecture level cities in Anhui Province as the research object,analyzes the current situation of regional economic differences,constructs a comprehensive index evaluation system for comprehensive analysis,carries out qualitative and quantitative analysis on the influencing factors,and puts forward countermeasures and suggestions based on the analysis results.The first part is the introduction,including research background,research significance,research results at home and abroad,research content and methods,innovation points and shortcomings.Secondly,the relevant terms,economic growth theory and regional unbalanced growth theory are combed.Then the paper makes a comprehensive and objective study on the current situation of regional economic differences in Anhui Province,measures the evolution process of regional economic differences from the two dimensions of time and space,calculates the standard deviation,pole ratio,coefficient of variation,ratio,relative development rate,etc.,and the results show that the absolute differences continue to expand,the relative differences first expand and then narrow.From the perspective of spatial layout,the economic development level of the southern region Ahead of the north.Then construct the comprehensive index evaluation system,use the principal component analysis method toanalyze the regional economic differences of Anhui Province,extract the principal component factors,and calculate the factor scores and comprehensive scores of all levels of cities.Then,using the research method of combining qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis,qualitative analysis is carried out from the aspects of capital factors(material capital and human capital),industrial structure factors and government factors.Panel data model is established for empirical analysis,and regression coefficient is obtained to measure the contribution of various influencing factors to regional economic growth.The results show that the material capital,human capital and industrial structure play a positive role in promoting the regional economic growth of Anhui Province,and the government factors play a negative role,among which the material capital regression coefficient is the largest and the contribution degree is the highest.Finally,combined with the results of the current situation analysis and empirical analysis,according to the actual development situation of each level city,the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are put forward.
