Research On Business Model Of Domestic Industrial Internet Platform Based On Morphological Analysis

With the continuous development of new-generation information technologies such as the Internet,cloud computing,and edge computing,these technologies are gradually integrated with manufacturing technologies,and the Industrial Internet has emerged.The Industrial Internet is mainly composed of three parts,namely the network part,the platform part and the security part.As one of the three major elements,the industrial Internet platform plays a key pivotal role,linking various industrial elements and making a more reasonable resource allocation.In order to promote the further development of the manufacturing capacity of industrial enterprises,support the transformation of production methods of various industrial enterprises and the innovation of business models.In recent years,the state has continuously issued various relevant policies to promote the rapid development of domestic industrial Internet platforms.However,the related research started late.Most of the previous research focused on platform architecture and technology,and less research on platform business models.With the continuous improvement of technology,the competition between today's platforms is more focused on what value the platform can provide to customers,how to provide it,and how to make profits,that is,the competition between platform business models.This article first reviews the relevant research on the concept and constituent elements of the business model,and combines the characteristics of the industrial Internet platform to study the business model of the industrial Internet platform from the perspective of value.Secondly,based on the collected second-hand data of25 domestic industrial Internet platforms,using the morphological analysis research method,a morphological frame model of the domestic industrial Internet platform business model was developed.On the basis of the model,the business models of 25 industrial Internet platforms were binary coded,and the representative morphological variables were selected for cluster analysis,and the main business model type of the current industrial Internet platforms in China:equipment management business Model,collaborative manufacturing business model,industrial big data analysis business model,system integration business model.Finally,according to the characteristics of each type of business model,combined with the morphological frame model,select representative cases and analyze the characteristics of this type of business model from three aspects of value creation,value delivery,and value capture.The relevant results obtained in this study can theoretically provide methods and empirical references for the follow-up research on the classification of business models of industrial Internet platforms,and in practice can help each platform company to have a clearer understanding of itself and its competitors and timely The model is adjusted to gain a leading position in market competition.
