In recent years,with the further deepening of China's reform and opening up,the number of construction enterprises has been increasing and the scale has been expanding,and the construction industry has played an increasingly important role in the entire national economic structure.It has become the main body of the construction market economy and the basic force to promote social stability.However,as the social competition environment is more and more complex,the social pressure is more and more large.Because many construction enterprises have not yet formed an efficient training mechanism and talent selection system,they still use the traditional training process.Some prominent problems existing in traditional modes and methods have restricted the further development of construction enterprises.With the concept of competency model,and is widely used in the related fields,improvement scheme based on competency model has got the favour of many enterprises and recognition,competency model as a link bridge of enterprise core competence and core skills of employees,has been more and more applied in the scheme design,improve the capacity of construction enterprise especially selected for the project manager position and the comprehensive ability of ascension.Competency model has gradually become a new basis for constructing a modern strategic human resource management system.This paper takes Y construction enterprise as the research object,selects the key position of project manager for research and analysis,in order to establish the competency model of project manager position of Y construction enterprise with its own characteristics,and studies the effectiveness and results of this model in the practical application process.This paper first explains the importance and necessity of the research from the purpose and significance of competency model construction.Then,according to the research status of competency model at home and abroad,the status and prospect of competency model are explained.Then the general situation of the competency model,the construction method,the selection of the project manager and the design of the capacity improvement plan based on the competency model are described.Secondly,analyze the defects and problems existing in the human resource management of Y construction enterprise.In this regard,the competency factors affecting the project manager's ability are obtained by means of behavioral time interview and questionnaire survey,and the relative weight of the importance of each factor is obtained by establishing a model.Finally,based on the established competency model,the project manager selection and capacity improvement plan of Y enterprise is designed to comprehensively improve the project manager's abilities.Compared in this paper,we select the current hot spot of the construction industry,and select the project manager is the key job for the construction of competency model and ability to the design of the lifting scheme,hope that through the improvement of the construction enterprise internal training mechanism,so as to improve the ability of construction enterprise project manager,in order to get more benefit,cultivating a greater competitive advantage.In the competitive environment to seek better development and future planning.The results also lay a foundation for further research on other positions in the enterprise.
